for the text i added a layer above, made it a clipping mask used the hard round brush to add circles in the clipping mask

then i added another layer above that one and changed the blend mode to overlay to lighten the corner

for the bakcground

i just added a bunch of cirlces with the hard round and soft round brushes

also some more circles

on top of everything i had a layer of yellow + a lens flare overlay

Well, the red eye looks her look like a robot or something . so if that's what you're going for.... go all in! - make it a bit brighter, and pop in some joints, seams to make her look like an android type thing...

Alternatively, if you're NOT going for robot... the eye looks a bit too saturated. Maybe knock it back a tiny bit?

Either way, good masking and use of the blending to allow the reflection to come through 🙂

I honestly can't see anything I'd change/fix. The shadows I think look pretty realistic. (It's a cloudy day, so there won't be heavily defined ones) - The position of their feet on the rocks look realistic. The lighting looks good. The UFO has a green light, but I don't think it's strong enough to need to worry about applying a green tint to the rocks/alien heads. - The 'noise' on the aliens matches the background.....

I'm being Suuuuper picky here. - I'd already give top marks. - but Maybe they might be a bit too 'sharp' against the background? - The background looks a bit more blurry than the aliens do?

I'm not the most expert, but I see that you need to improve a little bit in terms of the perspective of the objects that you insert in the scenery.. in addition to the lighting. Having a little sense of perspective, it will help you a lot to choose your 'background', your objects and etc.. I indicate this video below. The idea is very good, but I think the reflection of the lights (the colored ones) and the normal ones are not good, both on the character and on the stones up there

The portrait of the woman looks great. One comment I have is: perhaps spend a bit more time on the highlights for the hair. Currently they look like simple strokes. Maybe there is a variable-width Stroke Profile in Illustrator that would work better. Like, thicker in the middle and taper off at the ends.

I'm not sure if you're trying to "redesign" the Adobe App Icons or what your intent is with that one. Adobe icons are more 1:1 ratio and use a thicker/heavier weight on the letters. I'm fairly certain that they do this because they have to be reproduced very small, as in a 16x16 pixel icon, "corner application icons" and similar usage. If the font weight is too light, the letters might not be legible. You may want to think about that. :)

oh and the blue the circle is where i think it could do with some adjustments as that's where the perspective would change and it would also have some shadows on it? when i say perspective i mean that whatever is in that blue circle is, it will be at an angle as the building it's on is at an angle

Just from a personal point of view, I think it always helps when all assets are the same 'style'.

You have a hand illustrated lady, a spaceship that looks like it's clipped from a 3D render and a floor from... um... somewhere else. Try and find some bits that all look like they're the same sort of style.

It might be worth considering a few shadows on the floor caused by the sun lightsource.

and thr red light layer probably shouldn't have such defined edges around the circle.

@wide ginkgo - As I stated in the other channel, a professional logo should be created with vector graphics so that it can easily be rescaled and reproduced easily (for many different purposes). It should also work well in one color if possible because it may need to be produced in black and white or any other color depending on the need.

Also, be aware that there are already a lot of organizations that use a similar logomark...

The overall design of the layout will determine what color the logo should be. If they want the logo on a blue background, maybe the logo is just reproduced in white...

That's why its important that the design work well in one color.

or maybe it needs to be embroidered on a shirt or hat... or laser etched into a metal surface.

Colorful logos won't work for those instances.

Yes but you don't just design a logo for use on a flyer. If its a real business, they will probably need to use it for a 100 different things.

So you can have the color version with the gradients. It looks cool. Just make sure when you design logos that the design doesn't rely on a gradient to be unique. It's the shape that is most important. Colors are secondary.

Look at Apple, Nike, Starbucks. All of those use colors in their branding. But their shape is instantly recognizable.

You probably don't have to export the logo at all. You should just be able to drag/drop your Illustrator artwork into Photoshop.

If you're intending on doing some editing on it, I suppose you could copy and paste the shapes from Ai to Ps.

Any type of "graphic design layout" should probably be done in Illustrator. Unless its a complex, multi-page document. Then InDesign would be a better tool for that.

Photoshop would be best used for creating/editing any bitmaps that need to be inserted into those layouts. Ps is for editing pixels. Generally, not great for creating layouts.

Don't get hung up on the names of the apps because "Illustrator" isn't really a descriptive name for that app based on how it is used. "InDesign" isn't either.

Logo is too small and not really lined off against anything
The group of people are still in that big 'block' - meaning that the white square is cutting into the circle, and the one on the left is floating in the air
The "are you tired" font doesn't match any other style on the page.
The line endings in the 'come work for us' look a bit wonky (but to be fair, it's because 'employment' is such a long word.
The people illustration has a speechbubble with nothing in it...
The logo style/identity isn't reflected anywhere in the poster itself. - No gradients etc.
You appear to have two competing 'headings' - "Now we're hiring" and "are you tired"
Are you sure it's meant to be "Now we're hiring?" - I'd have suggested "We're now hiring"
The text on that right edge is too close

"perfect" and "Job" are on two separate lines for no apparent reason

This is presumably a banner/print-flyer that has no hyperlinks in it, - meaning that the icons for social media feel kinda pointless

What roles are they looking to fill? It just says "Customer Service".

I mean, does that mean sitting in a call centre? working in a retail store?

where is it? what skills are they looking for?

I can understand it not mentioning salary, but any basic job title examples?

I was trying to do everything all in one so I "copy pasta" some of the texts and forgot to change to typo error.

For the people on the yellow, I don't know how to curve them so that it seems as if they are standing on the yellow circle.

I will edit the context once more, I see where I went wrong.

For the logo, I know its small, but wouldn't the gradient color matchs the "Hiring", "The People" and the "Email" color?

To be fair to you. If you're doing this for a client, they really need to provide you with decent copy. - If in doubt, feel free to use 'Lorem Ipsum' in early design phases. That way you don't get people like me, Dhumann (and the client) complaining about the 'copy' when you're trying to focus on the design.

(Lorem Ipsum is just general 'gibberish' - that, at a glance looks like real text)

This looks pretty nice, i got the vibe of a Café somehow. With the browns sprinkels in the Background and all.

Only have one or two things i noticed. There are some white areas around the ears, it may be you have out them there so you have a bigger difference between your rather brownish ear and the brownish background. Maybe check on the outsides to remove the white
