Windows desktops are more customizable, both hardware and software. I like having the opportunity to make things my own. There are a lot of software that would be very hard to live without, that I'm using daily. But really, it's just a preference thing.

With that said, if you're having a specific issue feel free to ask in the #❓ask-a-question section and we can try and help you figure it out. If you're looking to get started in Photoshop searching things like "Introduction to Photoshop" or "Photoshop for beginners" will definitely get you some good starter videos. Beyond that these Daily Creative Challenges are great for picking up new tricks and tips.

@lunar summit I can you tell from my own personal experience, learning Ps online is an excellent course to follow. I started with only very basic understanding. I found 2 things that worked for me. PHLearn 30 Days of Photoshop is excellent. And the best tool is the Adobe Daily Creative Challenge. At first the DCC will be daunting and frustrating. But the progress is rapid. You will see rewards immediately. And the support community is excellent. Don't get frustrated. The rewards are awesome

@lunar summit Scratch Disks are temporary storage Photoshop uses while it is running. This temporary storage is used for things like History panel states. Settings for this can be found under Edit-Preferences-Scratch Disks, and it might be worth checking to make sure you have enough memory allocated for Photoshop. But having enough spare hard drive space can help avoid this issue. Restarting Photoshop can also be a quick way to clear that storage as a short term solution.

Feel free to ask also in the Adobe Video Discord, you can find it in the #✍how-to-discord channel. But usually this happens with some weird bottleneck of your comp specs, go to your preferences and under the media tab uncheck the hardware decoding of HEVC/H.264, restart, and see if that works, the checkboxes are near the bottom I think. If that doesn't work then the GPU may not be enough to try to process and there can be some other workarounds

what is did is this, i created auto selection from 'W', and going for refining it with the Pentool Path, it used to work earlier, Like, if there's already selection/marchingant and created path(pentool) then 'Ctrl+Sft+Enter' used to add the pentoolpath area to the existing selections. @twilit crane That is not normal. I suggest you post your issue in the ask-a-question tab on the left. That is where you will most likely get the best technical solution. As a starter, have you restarted your Ps? Have you rebooted your computer? have you installed a new update recently? What version of Ps are you running?

Install a prior version to see if you still have the problem. Then download a fresh copy of this version and reinstall. I believe, certain preferences will be deleted when you do this.

@ember flower The HIDE off the H side in black will not show up because it will be black on black. The white ECSTASY will show up, white on top of black. Try this.
Create 2 new text layers, one with HIDE in black text fill and one with ECSTASY in white text fill. Position the black text over the white E, Id suggest in the diagonal space above the H, and the white text off the white square on the diagonal below the H.

I am a new Photoshop user and I want to create this lighting effect and the reflection on the glasses. Notice how the dual lighting appears only at the edge of the face and not in the centre. I need help!!
I am trying to export this one image but in preview the image looks too bright and saturated. Yes I checked the color profile and it's sRGB (2.1) and in export settings, embed color profile doesn't work.
I am so confused because just moments ago, the same psd file was exporting the correct image and when I added new image/layer with same color profile.
Tried converting profile, it works but it removes all my layers. Assigning profile doesn't work as it's already sRGB.
How is this possible?
