The closer you can get is Color Wheel... There's a triangle inside rather a square but honestly it does the same (Brigthness/Darkness on the left vertical axis, Saturation control on the horizontal axis)... I can hear it could be hard to pick color accurately on the right side of the triangle.... Hue cube mode would be more convenient but you'll heve to deal with a color bar rather a color wheel... For now, unfortunately, I don't think there is a mode that mimic the Krita Wide Gamut Color Selector in Photoshop...

Hit F5 to acces Brush settings, make sure Pen Pressure is ON and size jitter set to 0% otherwise you'll get what I call a wonky line....
If what you call "wonky line" comes from sensitivity level of your graphic pen I think you'll have to set it up in the graphic pen app...

You can easily reproduce something really close by piling up several diamond shape with 4 rectangles cliped to them then apply different gradient overlay Fx to each rectangle... Here is a short video showing you how the first level is made and the structure of the others...
Note:I created the first diamond shape from a square rotated and squeezed, then copy it several times and reduce each copy from the center to get all the "levels" needed to create the final object.

First of all, your classmates may simply have more experience than you... Maybe they've already taken other courses...
If you're a first-year student and your teacher has a well-established curriculum that you follow and work hard at, you should be able to make progress throughout your training... Practice, patience, and perseverance will be your greatest assets on this journey.
Unless your graduation depends on your ranking, there’s no problem with having classmates who are further along... If you ask them for help, advice, or their opinion, it can even be an advantage... Also, I don't know how approachable your teachers are, but you should share your concerns with them... Maybe they can put your mind at ease.

It depends the style of your thumbnail/the Theme of the video/ the mood you want to convey... Could you give us more context?

I assume you want to keep the text "classical" (not funny vibe) I would suggest you to try sans-serif fonts like: Impact,Bebas Neue Pro, Poppins, Montserrat.
If you want to use serif font you could try Playfair Display, Lora or Cinzel...

At the end, merge all of the layers together (Make a merged copy... Shift Ctrl Alt E) . Convert to Smart Object. Then add a Camera Raw Filter. Then add the Noise there (using Camera Raw).

The shapes are diamonds with four squares applied to them using clipping masks (Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4). Then, a different "Gradient Overlay" layer style is applied to each square to create a golden diamond effect.

It seems that you positioned the layer on top of hidden ones, move Q1 to 4 under the hidden layers, on top of shape 1, as shown on the video

Clipping a layer makes it only visible where the bottom layer is not transparent
. In your case, it disappears because shape 6 is hidden.

Hey, the thing is there May be only a few ways to get it right, I faced the same issue before and I tried and it worked for me, there might be only 2-3 ways put there, D. Humann as mentioned has maybe helped you before ( IDK if you guys talked in past) but maybe try saving a high resolution file before and then sending further to someone, sometime this trick works as well.

Zooming in to an already dark image doesn't change the brightness. There is no image format that does this, i.e. that's impossible.

There is a setting to flip; you'd have to toggle it on when the Move Tool is selected: "Show Transform Controls" - Otherwise, you have to use Edit > Transform... (or Ctrl T on the keyboard)

if i wanted to crop an image to a 2:3 aspect ratio, could i just add a bunch of random pixels to the top of the picture so it’d be 2:3 and then crop those extra pixels out so you wouldn’t see them or does it not work like that

If you want to expand the canvas and the pixels don't exist, i.e. there would be blank areas there, you could use Generative Fill to attempt to fill in those areas with pixels that match.

There is even a "Generative Expand" when using the Crop Tool...

It's interesting what a hallucinating AI can conjure up from the word “BISTECCA”:

It's not that strange. There is a "LUCCA" brand that makes plates and stoneware. Gemini is a thinking model that generates pixels.

And if you run the prompt again and state that the brand is "BISTECCA", and it should be displayed on the plates, it will probably attempt to put that on there.

But just running a poor quality image through it without any direction, its just going to do its best with what it has to work with.

The visual effects that appear when the black background is enabled are certainly the result of one or more blending modes...
Blending modes typically involve calculations based on the data in the various visible layers... If you remove one (the black layer), the data changes, and so does the visual result.

I'm not speaking about "moral or ethics" of using an AI tool to create imagery. Its more of a practical issue. You can directly manipulate images and layers in Photoshop. In an AI model, you'll have to keep prompting to make changes. Time consuming, difficult, and you have to be good at writing prompts for Grok.

While you can use Grok Imagine to create images and design elements, it's much better to be able to use Photoshop to manipulate the pixels. Then you can do whatever you want, really. You're not at the mercy of whatever Grok decides its gonna give you.

If you want to keep it a Smart Object but still edit it, you will have to double-click on the layer, enter the Smart Object and do the editing in this tab. Save the work, Close the tab and return to the parent document.
