No, but there was an issue previously with gradient settings having a UI glitch and that have been resolved with the newer version.

The adobe forum has a new look, but it's still in flux right now, not super easy to use (I've heard that they are updating it as they go along, so hang tight)
So long story short, it's not easy to search recent bug reports with a keyword as of now, but it gives you an AI overview of the answers with links, and looking at that (for what it's worth) I can't see a recent bug report of an issue with the gradient tool

of course, that would need a more in depth search

Ordinarily I would just hit G and drag and voila, adjustable gradient. Over last night clicking and dragging yielded nothing and my muscle memory panicked 😄

Take a brush with full hardness and just eyeball it

Lower sense on mouse might help u

For those oval eyes u can use Elipse tool with white fill and black stroke

For some parts max ur smoothing setting on brush that can help u too to get smoother lines (for example eyebrows, nose)

If you don't have graphic pen I would suggest you to use pen tool... Select the brush you want to use (hardness and size) then select the pen tool.
With pen tool active, trace your path then right click it and use stroke path option.

@calm hollow : for the beard,hair you can use the same technique but with a special brush...

I need a small help, i make stuff and design like logos and other graphic stuff on iPhone, but all of them even if made with nice clean lines went sent or something the edges are a bit crumbled and I use ibis paint X for creating stuff and it makes my work blurry and hard to send an svg thing, I struggle with it a lot and I need help if anyone has any idea of a good free and easy to work with app that gives inbuilt transparent background so that I can work easily 😭

If you are creating logos you will need a vector based app: Illustrator, Inkscape, (figma I think handles vector as well)... Others may fall into that category
Obviously, since it's an Adobe server, we will recommend Illustrator which is the leader and industry standard for people who make logos

I mean 100% of people I know who are logo designers use Illustrator

I have no idea what Ibis does in terms of vector output

But also, generally, logos are supplied to clients in .eps, and pdf formats (that's what I am asked anyway) and .svg is reserved for displaying on websites

With a proper vector based program like Illustrator, the same logo will be delivered in a way that can be taken from a favicon up to a billboard, without any loss of quality, that's the beauty of vector outputs

The benefits of using the mask are: its a non-destructive edit. You can continually tweak the image by painting directly on the Mash which shows or hides portions of the image using Layer Mask functionality. (White means visible pixels. Black means hidden pixels.)

It's better at re-rendering the entire image than in-painting small sections of it.

But it can take specific directions like "change the shirt color to red; keep everything else the same."

hi! Just got my new macbook pro with 1tb and wanted to start photoshop. As soon as i do anything in the document i have the "not enough free space on scratch disc" alert and in the system settings i see that there are 800gb system files of photoshop. well you made a vector mask, so I might get why it isn't 100% harsh (not sure what the word is in english, like the thing you have on you brushes) but I did by pixels like that and still the white line

By the way I don't know if it's clear on this screenshot but since PS use squares to display colors (pixels) I don't think it's posible to get a seamless transition on a 45deg corner with a gradient fill ...
If I'm wrong and you find a way to get something better, please let us know... I'm always happy to learn something new.

For smooth contour when you use a selection tool like lasso or polygonal lasso => Check the Anti-Aliasing box.

The project = a place where designers can find their color palettes for their brands using our own custom trained AI model. the AI model.. at first it will be manual, i will collect a bunch of data from Behance from brands and categorize brands and collect their colors..

For example Tech Brands, Restaurant brands, etc.>

then brand personalty, target audience etc etc..

then click "Generate" it will generate a full custom color pallete that works well together for designers

none of that randomly generated colors from coolors.co or those other sites that claims to generate colors for users who are basically just random or luck and has nothing to do with what the brand really needs..

also it will host a color wiki like all those color sites with color usage, values, fun facts, contrast checking, blah blah blah
i started something similar last year and abandoned it due to lack of motivation and it got way too complex for me to finish alone
any web devs interested ?

it could scale up as well in the future and will be able to look-up fonts for you, a specific "UI color generator", and even give recommendations and suggestions for an already established brand. and maybe with Image generation models it could also generate a visual representation of the brand with a "Visual Identity template" or whatever but im seeing great potential in this idea, even if someone steals it and makes it a reality it would be a really great tool for designers since most of whats already available is incomplete or fully done through what feels like "Random" algorithms that just gives random colors based on color theory.

You'll probably need to speak with whomever runs the Teams Account at your school. They would likely have to enable this feature.

I'm speculating but generally the Admin of the Adobe Teams / Enterprise account has control over which Adobe Features are exposed.

I would assume that it's not going to be perfect.

The first thing I would do is try to get a complete body. Then you could try rotating it. But it likely won't get the suit perfect after rotating. However, you could then use Nano Banana Pro to complete the image and give it the correct the patterns and whatever.

Illustrator does have the ability to change that. Not Photoshop. The workarounds for Photoshop are not great.

Edit > Preferences > Interface... Change UI Scaling to 200%... But this changes "everything" not just anchor points.

And changing the display scaling in Windows is too much of a hassle to change just when you want to adjust anchor points.

It will probably require a combination of techniques. Adjustments either via Adjustment Layers and/or Camera Raw Filter with Masks to balance out the highlights, shadows, contrast, etc.

Try posterize, but honestly I doubt you will be able to get anything that makes sense with all the continuous tones you got here (and the other image as well)

You can visualise an embroidered patch in Photoshop by using the parametric filters

You need to ask the artist (or ask yourself if you are the artist) to simplify it for the purpose of a patch

These things as I understand it - are generally better done using vector art, in Illustrator anyway. You can set up your own colour rules

One could convert to Indexed Color and assign a custom palette but this seems tedious, time-consuming and possibly problematic if you're coloring things after-the-fact.

Sandrine is correct though; it's probably best done with vector graphics in Illustrator because exact colors can be selected and modified. In Photoshop, you'd have to make selections and recolor. Too many things can go wrong here. So if you're not bothered by how much time it takes, create this as vector graphics.

If not... sign out of the Creative Cloud app. Reboot the PC. When Windows comes back up sign back in via the Creative Cloud app. Try launching Photoshop again.

They probably created it as suggested above: as a vector graphics file. Then an exact palette of colors can be defined. If it was actually embroided, they probably did it in multiple passes (each color), I suppose.

Not well lol. It does its best to protect the high-frequency detail, which is usually helpful, but not here.
I tried a Fourier transform for sillies, but the noise is not periodic enough to be reduced. FFTs are great tools in many circumstances though.

The solution is probably dust&scratches masked carefully, then cloning in special areas.
