Maybe. But not in the way that you're thinking.

Get Gemini to render the guy without the hoodie and hat first. Then get it to render the hat on his head. Then if you can get two images that line up, you could composite them together with Photoshop like one would do traditionally.

You'd probably never get it all in one shot and it would be better to ask Gemini to render pieces which you would then composite.

I was using the topaz mosaic site, i upload an image, sometimes the image uploads find and i can use mosaic restoration on it, but most of the time it never uploads the picture. When it work an uploading bar shiws at the top for about 10 seconds then it appears, 90% of the time that upload bar appears for a split second and disappears then nothing happens

This is probably a super super simple question, but how do I select the gray color only and change that color to another color (e.g, blue?)

I tried going select > color range and adding an adjustment layer but the result wasn't smoothly colored it seemed more like a gradient (at both high fuzziness and low fuzziness).

Considering color overlay in blending options, that covers the black outline as well and makes the whole layer that color. I'm really only looking to change the gray.

There are no "3D" functions in Photoshop natively.

Just render your thing in whatever app or platform and import the pixels into Photoshop. Even with Substance Viewer, all you could really do is translate, rotate, scale the mesh. Pretty limited in what you could do with it.

Plenty of 3D features have been also transfered to Illustrator (with better sucess than they were in Photoshop, I must say)

I made this one a while ago entirely in Illustrator (for 36 days of type)

You can add lighting (rather basic), materials (all the .sbar materials that are available for free or paying, and one you can create yourself using Substance Painter of Designer are available to load within Illustrator, and are entirely customisable)

Most importantly, you can download the model as an .obj (other file formats are available) and import them in another 3D software: The Substance Suite, Adobe Dimension, Blender, Project Neo, etc....

This is a J (also for 36 days of type) where I took a model created in Illustrator, exported it as an .obj, loaded into Substance Stager (very similar to Dimension) and applied lighting, cameras, materials and additional props to the scene.
It's all together really more powerful than the 3D within Photoshop ever was....

Probbaly the best/easiest way would be to source images (best in PNG with transparent background) and apply them on the road as a new layer, transform them to mimic road's perspective. Generally you will finish off by masking the end tail of it so it looks like a real one. (Well defined at the start and kind of blurred at the end) and then change the bending more (probably to multiply) and the opacity to fit

There may be some "blend-if" masling required to make the road appear through the rubber marks as well.

You will find tutorials on each of these steps by going to** help>hands-on tutorials**, directly within Photoshop
Just type the keyboards (for example "blend-if") and follow the steps...

You can't recapture detail that was not captured in the original image. Its possible you could use AI to "invent" pixels to make the image nicer. However, its not going to be "real" or "true to life"

Just like any other Layer Mask, I suppose. Layer Masks operate the same. They are greyscale images. You paint white where you want the effect to appear. Black where it should be hidden. Values of grey are respective levels of transparency.

That depends on what you're trying to do. But, yes. Generally speaking, Photoshop operations often require making a selection and then doing some operation on that selection, e.g. Fill, Paint, Duplicate, etc.

I don't know it, but the way the 0 is set means that it's a "novelty" font (no offence there). Meaning that it won't be used for copy, but more what is called "Display".
That also means you'll have a thin chance to find it by asking randomly on a server. It's probably a fairly rare font, but on the other hand, that also means that you have more chances for it to be free or low priced

have you tried in Photoshop, Illustrator (via the "retype" feature or in Adobe Fonts?

No guarantees of course.

In Photoshop, go to the libraries panel, click on the + button at the bottom, and choose "extract from image"

make sure your image with the font in it is open in Photoshop first and click on "type" in the top menu

then follow the instructions in the preview

1. the person teasing this isnt the artist, its a fan who "leaked" the tracks
2. based off of their previous works, they really wouldnt go through all the effort, their previous work was on coloured backgrounds with identifiable fonts, this one though isnt

It's a serif with square base form (Typical of those fonts that try to emulate Roman writings, such as the ones in the column of Trajan - hence the name)

1. fullstop isnt in the middle
2. the number positions are correct but font is wrong, for eg. the 7 in them has a slant, but the original font has a straight line like an upside down L

I am also thinking that this specific font is a derivation of an existing one: See the descenders iin the y and g, they aren't the same thickness as the lower case p

methinks someone took - say - Garamond - and changed a few things here and there and re-puposed it as a new font

I tried it on the website, and the kerning and baseline is absolutely standard, so that would mean that they placed each letter purposely so it looks wonky. Which can be done - while maintaining the text editable - with the "touch type" feature in Ilustrator.

In Photoshop you would have to outline the text (non editable) and place it with the move tool

I've proposed it in a meeting one time. I think they're open to it. It's just wiring it in under-the-hood that would be an issue. You'd need to have a specific workflow for it. Like hit the VO button and then say something that Photoshop Agent could understand.

Honestly, the speech-to-text layer is already there on all operating systems. It's just parsing those commands and making Ps take direction/initiate action is the tough part. Then, of course, you have multiple languages to deal with. Just start in English.

I'd say prove it out in the web app first. Then you could slowly align look and feel so the desktop and web are "closer" to one visual design standard. But the VO and agentic stuff is where every app is going. People are going to talk to apps. Not even a question anymore. Voice direction is a "modern" and even a forward-thinking UI.

I have secretly advocated for a "node system" style layer stack (non-linear, bit like Substance designer or Blender nodes)
Plug adjustement layers to image based layers, plug filters to smart layers, plug layer styles...
I don't think you'd have to change the UI, just offer an alternative (when you create a material in Blender, you can do it in a linear way, and within the material node interface: You choose)

It could be messy, but the possibilities would be endless!

It's a sort of "state of mind" if that makes sense? I'm probably the last person who would be into node systems, but once I got to understand how it works, there's some kind of lightbulnb moment.
In fact I came to this the other way round. When I was learning a bit of material building in Blender, I couldn't really understand any of it, but then, there's some overlap: Filters , Gradients (called colour ramps), curves and distortions filters, and you can see the parallels with Photoshop. So I thought: what if actually we could build a layer stack with nodes?

It's just like generative tools now. Use them as much or as little as you want to. But Google and others are going to be fully voice-op to edit images. Adobe better kick it into high gear to stay ahead of them.

Once you've done a lot of coding, and node hacking, like doing Comfy UI-like image processing, you realize why software companies made GUIs in the first place. Nodes can get ridiculously complex quickly. They don't scale well.

Spaghetti strings everywhere compared to a Layer Stack... It's no contest.

Fine for simple node structures. Then chaining the simple node structures together. But it gets entirely out-of-control quickly.

I know we've had discussions between ourselves and my take is that I really love to make the stuff. I loved making the stuff when I did it with a painbrush and inter-negatives, I love doing the stuff manually, for the challenge of it, even when I'm paid to do it. For me (and even after more than 15 years at it), it's important that I get my hands dirty. It's important that I believe in my own skills and that somehow I can prove it. It's not just a job and some invoices

Of all the tools I've used since Photoshop, the UI's have been complete crap. Too much whitespace, too much frill. I'm very much a "get the blithering thing out of the way and show me as many buttons at once as possible" kind of person, I doubt you'd ever reach consensus on a complete UI overhaul.

Bridge always felt like a tool without a job for me - though that could be more to do with Dopus than Bridge. And workflows, ofc.

My workflow is very much Grind, throw it out, never look at it again, so cataloguing and keywording are secondary to being able to script things to get the damn files out.

Personnally, I found that, in most cases, but not all, setting it to Ai off gives better results

the problem is mostly when you need big areas covered, the bigger the area, the more propensity it has to fill it with something. My other method is to use the content aware fill, and smooth out things, on a smaller scale, with the remove tool

big fat rough job with the content aware fill as a throwel, the finishing touches with a small brush 🙂

Guys, I can’t find any official downloads anymore for older Photoshop 2021 versions (like 22.0) or the compatible Camera Raw version (13.x).

Adobe only provides the latest builds through Creative Cloud, and the older Camera Raw installers were removed from the public site.
So, through official channels, it’s no longer possible to download the correct Camera Raw version for this Photoshop version. someone can help me?

I would say a good deal of displacement maps, alongside liquify because there's no way of using puppet warp will take care of such deep creases. Unless the pattern is very large, but even that...

I am a photo retoucher so I would say that depends on how you're knowledge and background with Photography itself (as a photographer). I found that the main transferable skill was actually that I know how photography works
