But in order to help, we need more info: Where are you situated, what's the colours that have to be used? Any particular branded font for your high school?

Ideas need some constrains, they don't pop up like that!

Have you looked at similar designs for references? I suggest stuff like pinterest and see what aligns with the core values of your high-school. This is how a formal brief for a design would be given if you were designing for a client.
But, in that case, you, (and your high-school by proxi) are your own client. That means you need to act like one

• So you first need to put it into words: What do you want to convey?
• Do you have assets that needs to be there? (logo, a particular font, branded colours?)
• From there, you need to take step 1 and translate your words (what do you want to convey), into images. That's where the references will come into play

What you are looking about with doing that, is narrow your search by limiting it to what you need/want and discarding what you don't want.

It's an old filter, if you want to change the way it operates beyond the angle, you can make the canvas bigger and position the object relative to the centre (twirl only starts from the centre of the canvas)

Basically, you need to change where the object is relative to the center and also change the canvas size so the effect is only constrained to a specific area. It will help if the object is turned into a smart object first as you won't have to do it from scratch with every trial and error

The filter works from the centre, there is no way to move the filter, you can only move the object

Taking out exceptions, today most od them use vectors from the internet and just adding text bellow or in line with logo, that is not design in any way and they would even argue with "digital marketing designers" how they are way better.

I just experienced some unpleasant meeting with person who uses internet vectors for brandings, and i told that person it will cost very much once company wants to register that thing, and the are like "What are you talking about, you just know how to put product on some solid backgroumd and write prize over it, bla bla"...

Frame 0001 is the background image for all your frames and frame 48 is an exemple of frames you want to apply over frame 0001 ?

I can't help you with photopea (similar but less features and not exactly the same) but you can pick background colors then paint on a new layer above to hide hand, rod and their shadows then mask this layer to reveal the part you want to show.

Other way is to select the subject => make a copy on top of BG image
Make a copy of the object shadow and let this copy under the Subject copy, Desaturate it then play with its levels and set its blending mode to multiply.

There are probably multiple other ways but I'm done with that now...

A couple of things to take note in your question is the opacity of the glow in your saved file. Your opacity is set at 100%, consider lowering the percentage of the opacity and perhaps duplicate the gradient, put it as a smart object and apply a gaussian blur, lower the opacity and set the blend mode to perhaps Screen or lighten.

Not sure to understand but if you want to apply a linear rainbow gradient as Glow over your text you can make your Text effect, Add a ouside glow with 50% grey blend mode set to "overlay" (it will be invisible but it's needed for next step).
Put your text with the layer Fx inside the group then Apply a Gradient Overlay effect on the group then =>blend mode set to "Screen" and reduce opacity to get the effect....

I don't even understand the question. Charge who for what? The image contains a celebrity likeness which you can't legally sell or profit from. So one would have to assume that you're creating it for someone who owns the rights to all of the photos you used to make this? In that instance you would charge for time and materials that it took to create it. That would be based on YOUR hourly rate.

I used a gadient map based on greenish tones of the original (thanks Color sampler tool) then I set the blending mode to "Color"...
I found this efficient to fix the brown stains on the jaw and the uniform,,,

Absolutely.
You don't even have to advertise yourself as "ethical" to apply common sense. When you do work for people, you present them with choices over how to manage their assets.
For example using paid for or bespoke fonts over google fonts.
If you're building a website, you offer "off the shelves" solutions or bespoke.
That's common sense AND that's what expected of you.
When they have to resort to mafia tactics then it says a lot about the skills this designer have.

Also why it's always a bad decision to only choose a freelancer based on price (I'm not saying that's what happened there, of course)
Somehow they feel tempted to recoup their meagre earnings by exploiting others.

I think it's important not to mock people... I bet most of us couldn't recognise if a plumber/car repair/builder presented any of us with an inflated quote for an emergency fix and we would just accept it.
Of course, having a look online and compare things is the thing to do, but sometimes people can feel overwhelmed by the choice, and it's ony natural to trust people who are making it their business. Because most times, the plumber, car repair person or the builder will present a completely reasonable quote.

Methods to cut out and/or masking will depend on the subject. Most time automatic methods (select subject etc..) are OK, othertimes manual methods are the way.
Definitely mastering the pen tool is a skill you'll never regret learning.

OK, 500 x 500 isn't big, but you can change the size (500*500 isn't a resolution, it's dimensions) in Photoshop.
Know that as soon as you change dimensions, there will be loss of details, either up, or down. Photoshop will try to recreate that lost info: That's called interpolation

Don't stretch your images if you can: resize them in photoshop, save them in another format than JPEG (JPEG compresses images and you'll lose details) and reimport the images that are the right size within Photoshop to create your composites

A screenshot would be way better, you did not set the profile, the layers panel is not visible, and the image moves everywhere so we can’t read the settings.

View also the main image at 100% magnification (Ctrl+1)

Show the PNG format. If its 8bit, its basically going to be reduced to 256 colors or less. Which might account for the reduced image quality.

If its JPEG and the quality setting is very low, its going to come combine similar neighboring blocks of color which could also account for poor quality.

@river furnace OMG sooooooooo much data! I'm a retired gentleman, but the brian is still working, what's saving me is that I fooled around with PS for 26 or so years. I'm sitting here right now looking at a PS book copyright 2003. What's amazing is that a fair amount of the how-to in those book(s) still works.

I didn't take art in school, and was a business guy in like, forever, so it's about not only learning the tools, but looking at design ideas. I spend the day taking snapshots of ideas I like and saving them for later inspiration. 🙂

You'll have to learn how to operate your camera. Getting to know the camera, using f-stops, shutter speeds, ISO settings are likely important for that class and for good photography in general. Somewhat beyond Photoshop questions. Photoshop happens after you get the photo. heh

I think your best bet is to research other historical work and see what makes a night shot image compelling, You can start right from Eugene Atget right up to Liam Wong.

But it's right that this Discord server isn't for that kind of conversation (most importantly because of the way Discord is presented, in small sentences and not in threads like a traditonnal forum.
For that purpose, I would then redirect you to forums like DPreview, Cameraderie, The Photography Forum or GetDPI.

In regards to asking ChatGPT stuff, that implies that you got the chops to double check after receiving an answer.
For example, while researching those links, the first Google entry is a AI summary and is completely BS on a technical point of view.
I mean, no problem if you're using AI to summarise things, but IMHO it means that you will have the will to check the info or are knowledgeable enough to separate the crap from the real nuggets.

In any case, I don't think asking people to Google stuff or use ChatGPT is in any way useful (unless their demands are unreasonable, and they often are)

But don't expect people to do your homework for you either 🙂

Hi, There is the “match color” function. Hit Ctrl+F and type “match”, Photoshop will tell you where to find it if you hover the correct function.
There is also a generative filter for that, or you setup color samples and use adjustments to color correct.

Your question makes it sound like you're invalidating anyone who isn't a photographer. You don't have to be a photographer to use Photoshop. Some people do both. Some just edit images. Editing images is the purpose of the app. Thus, the conversions here are related to that. Not photography, per se.

If I understand the context to this image, go to your Channels. You can find it in Window > Channels. Open up Channels. You will have an RGB, Red, Green and Blue layer in there. There should be a button to create a new layer of sorts within Channels. Drag your Red and Green layer to duplicate it and fill it with white. You have options in how to do this. Usually Levels is the way to go. CTRL + L. I am certain you can just fill the canvas with white. SHIFT + DELETE. Change your use to White. After you've done it for both, you can go back to your Layers panel. Save your document.

Only using old versions. I don't think they make that product for Photoshop anymore. You can get similar effects yourself using Adobe Camera Raw filters.
