Hello friends, I'm having trouble recording Zoom meetings on my Samsung Galaxy M14 5G Android phone as a participant. I'm looking for a reliable screen recorder app that can capture both audio and video clearly of both host n participant at the same time. If anyone has a tried-and-tested solution or app recommendation, please share. Specifically, I need to record the host's audio and video without compromising quality. Any help would be greatly appreciated! I've tried searching for the solutions on ai tool/Google/utube but unfortunately couldn't find any relevant solution for it. Plus if you have any tips on any settings and configuration, please let me know this particular dialogue box comes in whenever I start recording, so how do I fix these things as shown in the shared pic? I need the solution urgently guys.

Make sure the unit used is pixel not inches when you create a new document.
Common mistake: inches chosen => Huge file=> Huge Temporary file which fills your scratch disk.

@silent crest - Many people think that Figma is going to become less useful in the near future (even now) because you can basically feed an LLM some basic designs, tell it what GUI library you want to use, e.g. Tailwind, and the LLM will code a working GUI prototype in a few minutes. People will still use Figma, I'm sure. However, the ability to do rapid prototyping of a web app or web page is already changing drastically due to the fact that ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, can create clickable prototypes quickly.

Maybe. Depends on the game engine you're developing for. That's a bit more difficult because games are generally using C/C++ (Unreal) or C# (Unity).

Its not going to "take over" it will just change. Figure out how to use Figma and the LLMs to make working prototypes faster. Increase your skills. You don't have to become a developer but it doesn't hurt to learn more about the process. Knowing what developers go through to actually build the GUIs might make you a better designer.

Adobe wanted to. The EU blocked the acquisition because they didn't like Adobe having a monopoly on GUI design tools. I think Adobe dodged a bullet on that one. Especially given this current environment.

They were going to pay Figma 10 billion in cash and 10 billion in stock options or something crazy like that. They are better off that it didn't happen, IMHO.

P.S. Even thought they also had to pay an enormous amount to Figma when the deal fell through. They still dodged a bullet.

Yeah that's true. But I truly think that everyone is waiting to see how much impact LLMs will have on GUI design/development. As I said above, the way its looking, that industry is going to change as well. People are already using AI to do rapid-prototyping. Skipping the complex, often slow and arduous initial design process and going straight to a clickable prototype. And they are doing it in the GUI framework you might want to use (like Tailwind). If that becomes the norm, investing a lot of time and money into apps for GUI design might be a mistake.

Unless new GUI design apps take your Photoshop/Illustrator art and (using AI) convert them into clickable prototypes. I could see that being a great use of all the tech together.

That's how bitmaps/raster images work. Its a grid of colored blocks at certain resolution.

I suspect you need to learn how raster images are created and are interpolated when they're scaled.

If you try to put a 1000x1000 pixel image into a 32x32 grid, you're going to lose a lot of detail. There aren't enough blocks to approximate the image anymore.

Fix what? That's how it works. If you're dealing with an image made of pixels. You have a certain size. When you attempt to scale it up or down from the original size, you potentially lose quality.

There are pixel dimensions and then there are "resolutions" of pixels per inch. I imagine the two images have drastically different size and/or resolution. You need to check that.

Make a new doc and use the settings that I have in my screenshot. Then bring the Vespa Coffee Delivery dude over to your new doc. That should work.

Remove the background. Covert it to a Smart Object. Then when Vespa Dude is a smart object you can scale him up or down a little bit to fit him in without destroying the quality.

You must realize that without converting to SO, every time you scale, rotate, skew, the image you're changing the pixels and that can't be repaired. Thus, its the Smart Object which protects the original image from degradation.

What's your level? If you are a beginner, you should start with the tutorials available in the “Learn” section of the Photoshop home screen. This is a good way to familiarize yourself with the application. Once you have mastered the basics, you can search YouTube for tutorials on the topics/techniques you want to learn and follow them...

You'll have to make artistic choices we can't make for you(which part to remove/keep, which lines to add...etc) and use Layer mask to hide parts you don't want to keep and paint parts you want to create... you will be able to pick the colors from the original design to create missing lines and keep a visual consistency. Are you totally novice or do you have some photoshop basic skills?

So if you turn on snapping, View > Snap... Then go to: View > Show > Smart Guides... and make sure that is on, when you start moving these things into place Smart Guides should appear and show you distances and such. Drag slowly want watch the guides show up. They should show you equal spacing and such as you move them into place.

Click on one of the samplers and you'll see a new menu bar, in that menu, choose the option that applies to the sampler

The clicking on the colour sampler icon IN the curves panel, triggers the colour sampler tool option settings

If you click once you will choose the specific sampler to show the settings and sample the colour, and click twice to change the values you need (as in it can be dark grey instead of black and light grey instead of white to avoid clipping in the extremes)

This assumes that all of the images are the same size. You'll have to do that which seems like the biggest pan in the neck.

If you set up something like this, you can "clip" each horror movie thumbnail preview to each rectangle. Much like I did in the demo video I made to demonstrate the Guide Layout feature.

Really? Then make the Guide Layout with 4 columns and 2 rows and whatever margin you want around the outer edges of the canvas.

You'll have to experiment with this since only you know the size of your thumbnails. You base the size of each "grid block" on the size of your thumbnail image + the height of the text you intend to use.

Requires some math and planning.

Is there any way to copy/paste multiple vector shapes from Photoshop into After Effects and keep them as vector shapes (without using Illustrator)?
I know about the method where you paste as masks on a shape layer in AE, but that becomes a mess when working with multiple shapes. Is there a cleaner solution?

Not sure since I don't think Ae natively supports SVG files. So Adobe Illustrator (.ai) would have to be used.

Yeah, that’s what I figured too. It just feels a bit heavy to rely on Illustrator only for such a small step. Would be great if Adobe adds native SVG support or a direct Photoshop → AE workflow one day 🙏

I don't know. To even get SVG out of Photoshop, you have to turn on the Legacy Export feature. And who knows how long that will last. It feels like they're set on people using Illustrator to create/store (and export) vector objects. Which makes sense really. Not for your workflow but from the Creative Cloud apps perspective.

Yeah, I get that from Adobe’s perspective it makes sense to push Illustrator for vectors. But from a user’s point of view, it still leaves a gap. Sometimes Photoshop just fits the design process better (guides, rules, quick setup), and it would be great if that effort could transfer cleanly into AE without the extra Illustrator step.

You can make suggestions on the Adobe Photoshop Community Forum regarding interoperability of the apps. That would be the best route. If customers don't speak up then they would have to come to these conclusions on their own. (Not likely.)

I would stay away the red colorfor the background (same side of the color wheel than the deer color) and go for an opposite one...
Add a contour around the deer.
Blue for exemple. Don't use a flat solid color for the background =­> try a radial gradient (lighter color in the center to darker shade on the ourside. You can also use texture background to add depth and life...

quickly learnt that while it is good to make note of the rules of photography, you needn't always follow them

Damn, nice! I tend to agree with your opinion, the only downside of macro lenses is slower autofocus but it shouldn't be that obvious anyways.

So far I'm looking into learning how to make graphics like Angry Birds and similar. But also learn to make good background for hero sections, do some nice animations with svgs, lots of svg stuff - mostly web related things, subtle things.

For some of this stuff unless I take art lessons I probably won't be able to do - but we'll see, I yet have to see what's possible and what is not for an average person

Its a conference. The yearly event that Adobe holds to announce the new versions of the apps, what they're working on in the pipeline, what's coming next, etc. But they also have seminars and showcases. Partners and related business usually have industry parties during that week as well. Its work for most people but you manage to have a lot of fun.

I can help you with your argument. I think every occupation has a similar "problem."
