@vague lance => You could try Colorize, set it to a blue-ish hue but only very faint; turn down the Saturation (and Lightness). Maybe something like that.

Also, don't use the standard Image operations; use an Adjustment Layer so that you can tweak the effect at will without changing the original image. Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Hue/Saturation...

Hello everyone, I have a small problem. I want to edit a photo where a boy and a girl are swimming side by side with monofins, so that the girl has a different color bikini and a different color snorkel. Also, due to the magnifying effect of the water, something on the backside needs to be made less visible.
The problem is that the water reflects a lot during editing and completely changes the colors.

You have a Filter Applied to this Layer. Which is it? Camera Raw Filter? If so, does the Camera Raw filter have its own independent masks? I assuming it does.

The Masks inside the Camera Raw filter aren't going to respond to the Crop of the entire canvas the same way.

There must be some sort of masking inside the CR Filter.

So, I created a new canvas in Photoshop with the size I need, but now I have white spaces around the image that I need to fill. How can I expand or fill in those empty areas?

You can try making a selection of those areas and using Content-Aware Fill. That might do some of it. However, you're probably gonna have to paint it / touch it up.

I've been designing since 2011, and I still get stumped every once in a while on how to do things. For years, I've enjoyed recreating monster trucks to drive in a vehicle simulator, and this is my current project. So you have 32GB RAM and you're distressed by the fact that Photoshop is using a 1GB while its idling with no documents open? I don't know of any way to "disable features." If that's what you're asking. You can always try to load an older version. The Adobe CC app might still allow you to run 22.x but I don't know that its going to be much different. That is before the Cloud and Gen AI services were implemented. Perhaps that will make a difference. Not sure what else to suggest. Sorry.

Photoshop has a Timeline feature. Window > Timeline... you can do various types of animation there. But to be perfectly honest, it is limited in the level of control over animated frames. Adobe makes After Effects if you're really working in animation.

Personnaly I would have learned how to do it so it would already be finished. It's something when you want someone to do something for you, for fun, with no constrains. It's another to rely on others for something YOU HAVE to do (as in homework or something you are paid to do) and expect people to bend over backwards to accomodate you.

You could do that with Inkscape, which is free, and with a couple of solid tutorials that take no more than a couple of hours it would already been done, to your satisfaction and in the knowledge that you achieved something by yourself (Am I being old fashionned there?)

Btw, do you know that Adobe makes a free app called express, where you could cut a part of the image and move it, or just inside a white rectangle and then type some text.

You could even use something like Adobe Express (again, free) to create tables automatically

You need to click on the eye next to the effect. As of now they are hidden. Maybe you clicked on the eye by mistake? It's showing grey, as opposite to white

Just click on the little grey eye, to show the effect again, and see what it does
