Gov agencies have specific steps in place when it comes to design work done on their assets (in every country) and I suspect the Gendarmerie Nationnale is the same.
Basically either it's considered unlawful, or it should go through due process.
Besides, modifying a logo, which, again, I presume have been registered in the INPI (Institut National de la Proprieté Industrielle) constitutes a crime

Premiere is for video production. Cutting, editing and assembling video timelines. After Effects is specifically for video effects, special effects, complex animations, etc. They are different and compliment each other.

Is it worth learning masking in Lightroom when you can use PS Camera Raw? I'm going to do a lot of photo editing that would probably be better off in Lightroom but I keep going back to PS Camera Raw just because I already know/am comfortable with the masking. And I don't know if it's only because I'm comfortable with it or if it's just better. From me skimming over it, I'm left feeling like LR masking is less precise as in the edges might not be as good as PS masking.

Camera Raw is perfectly fine when you don't really need to use Lightroom-specific features like libraries, advanced presets and some of the adjustment types. In terms of masking, both should work the same

I only have made a few attempts of masking in LR/CR and at first glance it seemed like the selection tools left much to be desired and I would always end up using the brush tool to add or subtract and it never really worked out great for me. And I left out the detail that I've been making the layers in PS, and then do CR with each layer which has to be inefficient but the masking is what I'm used to and I'm in a rush to get some stuff out ASAP. So I meant would it be worth it to learn LR/CR masking. Advanced presets seem like something I'd want access to.

Try to dive deeper into Lightroom and see if it fits your workflow. Camera Raw copies some of the Lightroom's features but not all of them

Je suis actuellement en stage et je dois réaliser une banderole de 3x1 m sur Photoshop, sur le thème des légendes de la Table Ronde. J’ai une idée un peu floue de ce que je veux faire, mais je rencontre plusieurs difficultés. D’une part, le format très grand fait ramer mon ordinateur, et d’autre part, j’ai rassemblé plusieurs éléments à intégrer (chevaliers, boucliers, paysages...), mais ils proviennent tous de banques d’images libres de droits différentes. Le problème, c’est que lorsqu’ils sont assemblés, le rendu n’est pas du tout cohérent visuellement. (j'ai seulement détouré les images)

That looks like a layer that has already been rasterized. So if you want to change the colors of that, you have two options: re-make that Gradient with the desired colors or use a Gradient Map Layer and try to shift the colors that way.

Rasterized in this instance means no longer editable as Gradient. Like there are no Gradient Colors to change. You'd have to re-paint it. Paint over it.

Sorry I have no clue, that's something to Google and look for an adobe page on it or wait for someone that knows. I do know there are things you can do to help, such as limit the amount of times you can undo to free memory etc. so there is hope.

This is why we need modular laptop stations where you can dock your laptop at home to extermal RAM and GPU neatly stacked and organized. As if they are cargo containers on a cargo ship but under your desk or beside it and well ventilated.

8GB RAM is the bare minimum. 16GB is the recommended min amount but I'd say 32+ if you're working on a large canvas sizes with many layers.

I think I'm going to delete the "normal" PS and only keep PS Beta around. Is there a reason not to do that? In my mind the only difference is PS Beta has newer innovative updates before "normal" PS.

It's your decision but I wouldn't. Ps Beta while mostly solid is a just a beta release. It should not be relied upon for daily work. Something might go buggy and you might wish you had the General Release installed.

That's a good point I didn't think of because of how flawless it has happened to work so far. And another point is that I think I'll be able to open up PSD's with one while the other one is updating (with my super slow internet).

That will get you going on learning the basics. General use, tools, techniques you'll need to know to be effective.

Inside Photoshop, hit Ctrl F to open the Discover Window. Click on "Tutorials" and then set the filter to "Beginner." Start there. :)

Humann's way is probably simpler especially for doing it just once, but there is a technique just for this 1:28 into this tutorial.

1. Right click layer(s)/group(s)
2. Click duplicate layer/group
3. Destination: select new and name it

You can put an image with a different aspect ratio into the Smart Object (if yours is 9:16) but then you'll have to scale it to fit, which is going to crop some of the image. I mean, thats how ratios work.

I think I get what you mean. The frame in the mockup is a different dimension than your art? Example, the frame in the picture is 10x10 inches but your art is 15x10 inches? If that is the case I would just find/make another mockup.

For a quick, overall adjustment, you could try a Camera Raw Filter with some basic tweaks.

• Keep color in key elements (sky, butter on toast, plants)
• Remove gray, foggy tones from the rest of the image

I can also share some examples!

I feel like there's a lot of depth/highlight in the character but the rest of the image feels very flat. Do you see what I mean?

If you want to target each each color, that would require more fine-tuning, i.e. various adjustment layers and possibly some masking.

Adjustment Layers like Hue/Saturation will allow you target and adjust each color, if that's what you want.

You can do quick selection and editing with Hue/Sat and color shifting. If you need to target specific areas, you would need to paint on the Layer Mask to either show or hide the adjustment.
