You can try with two adjusment layers technique.
1st for Hue and Saturation, 2cnd for Brightness
A bit complicated to explain in chat (and video would be too long - I don't have Nitro)
Are you familiar with color sampler tool (eye drop family - I) and info panel?

Did you watch the video?
In Hue/Saturation layer if you play with lightness value it impacts the saturation value (given by info panel of the color sampler tool).
To match Brightness value (given by color sampler tool) without affecting Saturation value you can use an Exposure adjustment layer=> Exposure affects only brightness value not saturation.

Not sure to understand but you have to do a selection of each color you want to match.
In your case most of your colors are in magenta zone it so shouldn't be necessary(?). (For the gif I just used one color sampling and reveal it with a mask).
But if you mean Match the darker parts of you hair (at the bottom for exemple) you'll need to do the same process (choose the color you want your dark to be > Sample HSB values > use adjustment layers > Use a layer mask to reveal/hide parts you want the adjusments affect).

It does not have to be a shape.
The base layer must have transparent pixels. Otherwise the base will act as a clipping mask over the entire content of the layer.

If I had asked the question about this image processing, I would have ‘stumbled’ over at least three things.

Apart from the unwanted watermark:

• The image was altered in size/resolution and colour.
• More has been removed than desired (the metre rule on the left and much more than just the tracks on the right).
• Clear artefacts from repetitions are visible on the right-hand side.

you don't really need 3D or even substance painter, you'll have to do a bit of layers to create the gradients, shadows, etc

I don't see why this should have been removed, I get that there are 3D apps but this could save time than having to do a layered project to achieve the same thing

its tricky to work with something like that; also you may have to work smaller areas at a time, its painful but that may ultimately be the only way

there's no set scientific method for every photo unfortunately

there's so many ways to make highlights but I bet I'm doing this wrong, its kinda hard for me to do it on the videos because every video does it differently and well... brushes aren't my strongest suit so now I wonder how I can colorize the adjustment curve 😛

I think if I add another box here, then it'd look like it isnt cut off and then just remove/add some other boxes, then overlay it beside the original image

You have to understand that the AI does not know what’s it’s doing/or is thinking in any capacity, it’s simply basing data weights off of correlated pixel data and sampling the closet strings to that which is in its data base to aggregate and form a new string of data aka your output generation

I had to look for myself; you are right, my bad its not in 2021 for the eliptical tool but it is for certain tools, 2024 has this on almost all selection tools now

kinda surprised they are using a 2021 version unless they have a perpetual license or they don't update

ngl I was going to just get it for free but I found it hard and annoying. I was able to use my student email from college still even tho its been like 14 years since ive been in college. so I only been paying like $20 a mo. they recently made the studet verison only last for like a year at that price., but somehow I have been able to use it for the discount still

if that deal ever wnt away we know what will happen. so adobe dont fix that unless you want to lose $20 a month 😛

Its a great set of apps, there are some close rivals to this, but I don't think anything can beat PS tbh

yeah, I'm so used to PS I have a disdain for gimp but even that TBH is far subperior than PS, Paint.NET is a better step up from gimp but those two are still nowhere near PS

I still have PS 6.0 and PS CS2 on my old computer - but I haven't used it for a long time.

Too bad I no longer have access to PS 3.0 (3.0 not CS3)
Those were the days when there were no layers, just floating selections that were added directly to the image when the selection was cancelled.

well yes, thats from when you could pay to own. there is no 2021 version that allows you to use it for free/pay to won. IF you have the 2021 version you should be able to update to the newest. unless you know. braking the law

You can keep any old version on your computer as long as it works. Nobody is forced to update (although it makes sense of course). However, a change of computer should then be avoided at all costs!

On my current computer, I could install only these (older) versions via the Creative Cloud app:

for awhile in some countries software companies/developers like Microsoft were allowing perpetual licenses when the subscription model was new for a few short years for basic versions of their apps even if the version date was newer even in some markets like N. America where this wasn't possible so I wasn't sure if that was still a thing in some places FWIW.

ok hey sorry for change of subject, but I'm looking for a decent way to make an automatic image collage, I've found Qimage which works with PS, LR, PSE and it can print to an image file or PDF, even to paper obviously

There's a lot of customization available in Qimage that can be useful tbh

a variety of layouts, artistic in nature; Qimage is just a bunch of squares

sometimes I want a collage of 4-10 images or I want a page full of wallet sized images but I don't always want them in squares or thumbnails, maybe I want some overlapping, or in random shapes, etc

btw Qimage has a lifetime license option 😉
