Your/our best option would be to download some new, better quality vector 'paint splatters' and use them instead of your vector brush.

I would try to select it and use the stamp tool to cover the selected area with your background. You got a good sampling area left and right of the image (and in the reflection as well)
You could use either the generative fill or the content-aware fill, but I'm afraid that it will detect the light trail as a sampling area, and that's not what you want. That's why I would do it manually, using the pen tool to create an area that restricts where the clone stamp tool will operate and convert that path into a selection.

Now in addition to that, since your photo is taken in low light and I suspect you will have some grain present, the clone tool will probably soften that grain, making the retouch visible. So you'll need to add some grain back, with Filter>noise>add noise

Either after having converted the retouching layer to a smart object (since I pray you've retouched the area on a new blank layer 🙂 )

Or adding noise (or grain) to a neutral layer filled with 50% grey and with an overlay blending mode, and placed that layer on top of the layer stack, clipped to your retouching layer (since you only want the grain back in your retouched layer.

In addition to these pertinent advices, for difficult selections, it is sometimes easier to select the rest: isolate the subject and the light trail, you could then apply a layer mask on them, so that cloning or content aware tools ignore those areas, for instance.

Hey, Is there a way to create ribbon brushes out of images like you can in Clip Studio Paint? (Not just regular greyscale brushes, but brushes with color and everything from an image that is converted to a material with correction and what not, if anyone is unfamiliar I can show you what I mean). And if not, where can I suggest this feature to Adobe?

To go a little further in deatail, with the brush style I am talking about: I mean a brush like this screenshot. There's a lot of settings , but under the stroke menu there is a checkbox for "Ribbon" that basically turns your image into an ongoing line you can draw (so long as your original image is seamless at the edges) and it has an autocorrection to stabalize the line while you curve it around things. The material is added in the brush tip menu (the menu I am showing) but yeah. Essentially I find myself importing my images into CSP just to add a few things I use this feature for and I just wish that PS had it (if it doesn't) so I can just keep all of my workflow in one app.

Essentially the University of Cincinnati (Ohio) is running a free photoshop certificate bootcamp that will reimburse you for the certificate. The state is providing funding through a grant but there isn't enough people currently registered to satisfy the grant requrements. [I dont think they advertised in the right channells]

My cousin told me about it as I'm a photographer and into Photoshop and the program manager (her uncle) told me that they may have to cancel the class due to low enrollment. Hey, sorry I wasn't really too sure on where to ask this. I have a presentation on Friday and I have to show slides with elements of motion. I'm aware that I cant do this through PDFs or Indesign. Does anybody know the best way to do this? Saving it all individually to a folder on my computer doesn't seem to work either as I can't get a seemless loop without duplicting the loop itself multiple times - it just brings up the hover bar when it plays from the start again

Personally, I think it has to do with the way that the Transform operation handles digits of precision and [possibly] attempting to account for any anti-aliasing that the operation is going to do upon completion. This is my conjecture; I don't know for sure. We would have to ask someone on the Ps Dev Team for in-depth info on how that works.

However, since its impossible to have fractions of a pixel (as expressed by a floating point number), I would just ignore the temporary calculation in that field. Photoshop is going to round the number when the operation is over. You can actually watch it happen if you open the Info or the Properties Panel and look at the Transform values after the operation is complete. Sorry. I wish there was a better answer. Hope this helps.

If you want to fix the cut off arm, there is only 3 ways
1/ try to find an arm in another image and composite it to your own image
2/ recreate it by drawing it by hand
3/ try to select it and use generative fill to come up with an arm (results not guaranteed, and there will probably be some retouching)

All of which will require serious work (but I think 1/ will be the easiest)

BTW, there is no rules about self-promo here, unless it accounts to Spam (you will be booted if that happens)
But saying "I'm a graphic designer" means nothing, all of us, in some capacity, are.
If you need to advertise, you can do worse than put your website on your profile so that people can see what you're capable of.

the hands on portion of the test in photoshop is pretty specific and it asks questions about what each tool is and how you can apply them in the task they give you

The 1st portion is like a multiple choice test if you know it you know it but if you don’t best of luck but the questions are straight forward
