But, your screen is RGB, your document is CMYK. CMKY changes the colours so they are accurate when printing. You should also check your colour profiles. They may have changed. You can set these in a new document.

Create a new layer under the logo, use a black brush and draw under it, basically filling the transparent holes from below. Once done, save as a new png file. Open the new file in Photoshop. You can then do the steps I mentioned to recolour it.

You can use the content aware fill or clone stamp tool to remove the "GAP" and you can illustrate "JEM" in the same style either in Illustrator or Photoshop (which you're comfortable with) and place it on the shirt.

In some other Adobe led server (Adobe Express for example) you got Language specific channels you got to subscribe to, but not here.

if you have your portfolio in .ai, then theoretically you could just put all of your work on one page, since it's a vector, you can scale them down as much as you want and they wont lose quality, but if you need to print it out or something (raster) then you got a lil problem there

You could mask the character, and then apply the threshold and invertion as adjustment layers, clipped

The background is now transparent, and your adjustment only show in the layer content

Based on that basic description of the issue, it would be difficult to diagnose the problem. Perhaps you don't have Scratch Disks assigned. Or you have very little space on the drive with the Operating System (less than 20GB).

It's not the latter, could be the former. Since I'm on Windows 10, I have to go in for every PS version and change some stuff so that it'll use my drawing tablet correctly. (Otherwise I have to go through Windows Ink, which is the worst thing I can imagine doing)

Photoshop wasn't necessarily "designed" for drawing. But it can be used that way. And many professionals do use it for that. This is because Photoshop has a bunch of other tools that help with pixel editing overall. Fresco is targeted at drawing but doesn't have other things that Photoshop has. You're not limited to either or. You can use both. :)

When you do, open your logo (provided that it's the right format for Photoshop) and screeshot the whole window of Photoshop, it will help for explaining

Also don't expect to know where things are if you never used Photoshop ever in your life. It's a relatively dense software, it need some learning

PNG works, although PNGs aren't exactly the right format for a logo (If a graphic designer done this logo for you, they should have ggiven you a vector format, not photoshop's firld)

I was pointing it out, because logo files usually have strict guidelines (at least when done properly, by someone who knows what they are doing!)

In that case you need to select the text you want to change the colour of first, since you have no background, no need to be presice, you just need to select ONLY that bit and not any of the rest of the text
You will need to use any of those tool "selection"

Now there are many ways to change the colour in photoshop but the easiest will be to simply apply a solid colour to your text. For it to be only constrained to the text you want, you will need to use the selection you've just made
The following steps will automatically turn your selection into a mask. So you need to keep your selection active for now
1 - go to the layer panel, click on this icon and chose "couleur solide" whatever is the name in french)

It will display a color square, generally black, like this (black being the default, is normal)

you will see that your selection havs been converted in a mask

that's the right bit

whatever is white in this icon will be visisble, and whatever is black will be hidden, that's an important concept

Now
2- change the black colour to the colour you need, you can use hex codes, RGB codes or whatever, even choosing randimly playing with the sliders in the coloured square

Once done, you need to constrain your colour to the text only and avoid the background. You will "clip" the solid colour layer to the text layer.
I think it's called écretage in French
You'll find it by right clicking in the solid color layer in the layer panel. That should be "créer un masque d'écretage"

It will look like that, with a small arrow

It's now done

The final quality is entirely dependent on the quality of your original, so it works OK, with big, crisp files, less so if your edges are jagged.

That's why we use vector shapes for creating logos (.eps, .svg, .ai etc)

And not .png

Yes, and the steps are the same, select, apply colour layer, clip.
Save will be file>save, or save as if you want to save as a .png (save will save as a .psd since only .psd will keep your layers intact. Always keep a .psd with all your layers so you can change things)

I never hold too much hope when it comes to corrupted files to be honest. However there is definitely hope if you saved it in the cloud as you can retrieve previous versions of the file.
Also hopeful if you have an automatic back-up system and/or turned on the automatic recovery

in case it doesn't work with downloading. Open in Bridge and see if you can see the thumbnail. if you can't see the thumbnail is pretty much a lost cause, but sometimes you can try to open the .psd from bridge

I have an Icloud sub but never use it, but if they're like - say - Dropbox or Google drive I would never trust quick view. Particularly for multilayer files (psd and tiffs mostly)
