Depends the amount of blur. But if this is a very blurred image (or a blurred licence plate that kind of things) then usually it's not possible.
if it's slightly blurred, you can try the Sharpen filters ( filter>sharpen) or within the Camra Raw filter

You can try with a generative fill (select the area and generate a shap result) but it will be an "invention" so good if the purpose is aesthetic, but if you need some forensics results then it's rather limited for small blurs with regular filters

It’s meant to look like that all those tiny squares won’t actually appear if you end up importing that picture to something because those little squares meant it’s a transparent picture so the background is completely removed example

CTRL+J just duplicates the layer highlighted into a new one (if this layer contains a selection, it only duplicates the contents of the selection)

AS far as I know there is no shortcut to add a mask, by default. If you look at the menus, you will see some contains shortcuts next to the text, and "add mask" isn't one of them

It may be that the person you saw created their own shortcuts with is easy to do yourself

So it's also possible that CTRL+J has been changed into "add mask", as you can customise as you wish. I am assuming it was with an online tutorial because it happens very often that experienced PS users modify their shortcuts, but when coming to recording their stuff fail to indicate their shortcuts aren't the default ones. Good tecahers always revert to default before recording 🙂

the image on the right is the correct one, while on the left it looks distorted, stretched out

one important detail, they're width and height are meant to be different, so that's a none issue. But the mentioned distortion on the left one sure is a problem.

Sorry, maybe expressed myself wrongly. The main issue is that the the image on the right is the original proper image, and the image on left was create based of the image on the right, It was just executed poorly. They just straight up resized using the image size function, unlinking the width from the height

that's why it got distorted

Since we need that exact photo to have precise fixed parameters: 928 Width x 524 Height.

And It's impossible to achieve that without distorting, sandwich'ing the image as you saw :/

if resizing it properly, the mentioned parameters would get bigger but at least the final result of the image would look legit, like the one on the right.

thank you for your assistance, really appreciate it. I'll try to be more clear now, the "flat" (better call it horizontal) image is the original (great quality, the character that are in it have the perfect original proportions and stuff), but the problem is it had to have the dimensions that the image on the Left has - 928 width and 524 height; meanwhile the "correct" image on the right original is only 1200 width and 420x height.

Sp what the person who tried to "fix" the dimensions of the image on the right did I'd consider pretty lazy, straightforward...

he just went into the "image size" options and manually entered my above mentioned dimension parameters for the beautiful image on the right, while unticking the clip so that width and height wouldn't change correspondingly when one of them gets adjusted. And that's how the abomination that is the left image was "born" - looking it it was under a press from the sides

Now if I do manage to amend the weird looking sandwiched image on the left, too much of the size get cut off, either using regular scaling or distortion options

and that leaves me with this:

the proportions of the characters are on point but the the image size is so messed up that it gets "cut" off by the games initial window proportions.

And yea, I've actually managed to get the best results by doing all sorts of cropping (better than the one you see in the above pic ofc, but not completely perfect)

Sounds lke you solved it, but to confirm - if I was in your shoes, this is what I'd do....

plus perhaps a slight inner glow on multiply to help really visually distuingush between the different characters/classes.

The way to do that kind of stripe would be to simply create black and white lines of a set amount of pixels, and probably blur them a little and then lower the opacity.
That means you can colour pick the stripes (as Req said) but it will give you the combined colours of the lines+ underlying image (since we can see the original image through both light and dark lines)
And even if you find an area that's 100% white with a white line on it, and a black area with a black line, it will only give you the colour of that combination since the lines opacity have been lowered

So there's no maths involved here, just trial and error

to do a set of lines very easily, the best way is to create a repeating pattern.
Just create a 5 pixel white square on top of a 5 pixel black square in a 5 pixel X 10 pixel document , blur it by 1 pixel or less (you'll be the judge)
Then go to **edit>define pattern**, and give it a meaningful name

when you want to apply it, create a new pattern adjustment layer and choose your lines in the list, it will automatically apply, non destructively, on top of your image. You can then set the opacity and blending mode

(You can also change the scale and direction of the lines in the "new pattern" adjustment layer settings window)

If you want to be able to adjust the blur after the fact, don't blur the little squares but when applied, rasterise the adjustment layer and blur it after (alternatively convert that pattern adjustment layer into a smart object and blur that smart object)

Have you tried looking at Adobe fonts? All can be used as long as you have any Adobe subscribtion, and you can even filter them with a specific character set

how do i apply previous camera raw filters from other files?

cause there are some instances where i open a new file and clicked camera raw filters instead of opening another tab for it with sliders, it just applies the previous filters

I find that you need to open the previous file and if you - cleverly 🙂 - applied the ACR filter to a smart object, then opening that smart object and closing it without doing anything will load it as "previous file
Then close that file open the new one, apply an ACR filter and choose "apply previous preset" in the menu

otherwise just make sure you save your presets if you want to re-apply an ACR preset from an image you can't summon the filter again

If you learn sketching analog or digital is up to you. Me personally would learn both to grow the skilz. Also you can do all the sketching in Photoshop, but depending on what you want to paint there are special Drawing Apps like Krita, Paintstorm Studio, Inkscape, etc.
As long as you have a good Graphics Tablet like Wacom or Xencelabs you are good to go with almost all apps. For the Settings I would not worry that will came later when you have your own workflow and know what brushes, Actions, Colors, Sensitivities, etc. you will work best with. Have fun.

Its like what is better Puma or Nike, Mercedes or BMW, Pizza or pasta, etc. Every Tool is a little different, in Essence they do all the same and YOU choose with what Tools YOU can work best. There are so many Programms out there. At the end everybody has to choose for themself and practice, practice, practice.

Try the pattern @sweet isle suggested but lowering the opacity and changing the blending mode like I did here

It takes about 10 seconds to make that particular pattern
Just a 1 pixel x 5 pixels black line on top of a similar white one

Change the angle and you have a diagonal set of lines 🙂

Since they look a bit blurred in your example (might be the extreme magnification though), I would convert the pattern layer to smart object once set and apply a gaussian filter to the smart layer. That way you can tweak the amount of blur according to the size of the image and keep the pattern for future uses. If you need a lot of these kind of patterns you could make a whole set to have them at hand when needed (lines, dots, etc)

It does look great! when doing work for print especially though always be mindful of the bleed. you have to account for a safe region. In other words, assume that things will get cut off on the edges. I think the move to make here would be to left align the MIND BODY SOUL with the word Nature. and to also likely push it down a bit from the top.

They're probably spaced out evenly, but not displayed accurately. To be 100% sure, make sure you look at it at 100% magnification. You may be experiencing a moiré effect that is due to the way screens display stuff. In that case you need to make sure to show your artwork at 100%

Also, in general, just know that an accurate view of details is always a 100% magnification in Photoshop. To a lesser extend, maginification by increments of 25 (125%, 150% etc).

If you're looking at something at - say - 66%, it's likely not very accurate, if there's lots of tiny details.

People do it, and while we don't forbid it, we certainly don't encourage it. It's a minefield for people not to be scammed and as a freelance professional it's something I would personnaly never do. There's tons of systems around (Behance, Upwork, PPH to name a few), and even a Photoshop request sub-reddit, specifically for that purpose.
If something happens and people are ripped off (as it happens often), there is nothing we can do to enforce laws. Sad, but true...

Always use Illustrator for vectorized projects. This is much more practical and easier. Photoshop offers fewer options for this type of stuff.

No that’s a picture with pixels. You can repaint the image in Illustrator or have it converted automatically, but this often doesn't work well. Using the pen tool in illustrator is quick if you can do that.

Do you want to show an explample of that brush? Just in case it rings a bell. But it's notoriously difficult to recognise complex brushes just with a stroke.
If you google "Kyle Webster Photoshop Brushes" you'll get a link to all the free brushes you can get from Adobe.

They sometimes offer some in the "discover" tab of your CC app. Discover is a sort of blog for the Adobe products, with articles, tutorials, interviews and freebies

But lots of people offer free brushes (and paying brushes too)

In Photoshop just cycle snow particles movement right?

For Premiere and After Effects I would still need transparent particles done in PS or IL, so if PS can it is better.

It can be done in PS, using position for motion.
Using particles brush tool, creating snow layer, changing position in video motion.

Only problem is, it is not continuous, like, when motion ends there is abrupt change once motion or video starts again.

Solution might be to put two of the same layers, or better said, video one over another, one that fades out and one that fades in, this gives an ok result, still not continuous, I am thinking of way to do it...

Maybe, some in circle motion that goes of artboard to get back on it, but then timming is a headache, hmmm.

I am assuming you are very new to Photoshop.
What I would suggest is that you look into adding the missing bit of the mirror using the AI generative fill. Unless you feel like you want to draw the missor from scratch?
Try this:
Open the image in Photoshop
Choose the crop tool

see what happens at the top in the contextual menu bar, and choose 16/9 in the 1st drop down menu

click on the double arrow to switch the 16 and the 9. Now you got an exact size for reels and tik tok videos

In the same contextual bar, you'll find this drop down menu: choose "generative expand"

now, drag one of your corner to extend your canvas (that's what the crop tool does) to where it should be in your design. Once done click inside your canvas to position the center where it will be. try to be precise, it gives you guides

Once you're done, click on the tick at the top to commit the crop

You'll see that happening

the Generative fill will try to fill the blanks for you

when it's done, you may think it's good, or think it's a bit meh. Worry not!
Check the properties panel and you can see it gives you some options
click on each and see what it came up with.

In my case I would choose the last one, as you see it kept my ink palette intact, instead of cutting it

when you're done, just save (CTRL+S) and export your photo as a jpeg or png (file>export>export as)

Just a world of caution:
there's someone on your bed 😅

You can use generative AI to remove them too!

One real last word: Photoshop is a complex program, you can do simple things with it, that's true, but there is a minimum of a learning curve just to get acquainted with the interface.
For that, the best thing to do is to check the tutorials inside Photoshop itself
help>hands-on tutorials

you'll get a panel where you can choose what to learn, but you can also type in directly your problem.
Most often than not, it will come up with a tutorial, inside the app, where it shows you what to do in real time, step by step.
For some reason, few people seem to know about it! (and also the help files are your friends 🙂 )
