You can try one of the neural filters that generally does a good job with slight amount of artifacts.
The "historical method" was to surface blur the image slightly, but it's not always good.

You'll need to download the filter first, and then choose which strengh you want to give the effect

You can choose where the result will be added
I would suggest a new layer, or better still a smart filter so that way you can tweak it further

In addition to the content aware method.

Both generative fill and content aware can be found in the "edit" menu
The remove tool is found in the menu bar

there are some instances where I still use the clone stamp or the Healing brush tool, but given the efficiency of those new methods, less and less to be honest

The lighting in the two photos doesn't match so you'll definitely want to begin to work on that. Likely using combinations of Adjustment Layers with masking. This is just quick but its just to illustrate my point.

Too clean. Its a dead-giveaway for a composite when edges are too sharp.

An example of softening the edges would be if you masked out the bear, you could play around with the feathering the edge of the mask a little bit. Also take into consideration the lighting conditions of the background vs the foreground element you're adding. The BG has much lighter / diffuse shadows. It's a small touch but goes a long way

Well feathering can also have the adverse effect of revealing the bg you masked out, so potentially using a soft black brush manually around the edges (of the mask) can help if that's the case

Obviously, we know the bear isn't standing there. But to make the viewer suspend disbelief, it helps to soften the edges. When they're too crispy, its quickly disregarded. :)

Yeah, your foreground bear has a lot more detail than the BG photo. Normally that's not a problem because things in the backgrounds of photos lose details as they leave focal range. But your BG is fully in focus which highlights the difference in the level of detail between the two and makes the bear stand out a lot more

Make a merged copy of all the layers. Select the uppermost layer and do: SHIFT CTRL ALT E. That will make a new merged layer. Then convert it to a Smart Object. Right-click on it in the Layers Panel. "Convert to Smart Object" and then Filter > Camera Raw Filter.

Then the Camera Raw Filter will become a "Smart Filter" that can be edited. If you just apply it to a normal layer, those edits will be burned into the pixels permanently.

The best way would be to trace it with the pen tool. Once it's traced, you can use this path to create a vector mask, and add that mask to a solid colour layer (that bright yellow) and later use that mask to achieve that transparent hole in the image.

So here is how it looks
first when you add a yellow solid color adjustment layer using the vector path done with the pen tool as a shape (just create your path and upon applying the solid color adjustment layer the visible path will automatically turn into a shape, using the solid colour layer as a fill colour)

When you want to make a hole in the original image, and given that your path is already done, all you have to do is select your path with the vector selection tool (black arrow)

and right click to select "create vector mask)
Now you'll obtain that
(the opposite of what you want)

To invert the vector mask, and still with the black arrow and the path selected, choose this option at the top

Yes it wil be possible, but it looks very 3D, so replicating excatly the kind of distortion the texture has will be very difficult for a beginner. Placing a texture and adding shadows without any distortion is relatively easy. You just need to find the right kind of rock texture online (preferably on Hi Quality stock image websites like Adobe Stock, Istock, or Unsplash), mask them (Using a vector mask as I can see the edges are really sharp) and add some shadows here and here.
Shadow can be achieved by creating a new adjustment layer with, for example, a levels or curves layer, where you will be darkening the image, then apply a black mask onto the layer, and then paint back in white to reveal the darkened area
In any case, knowing about masks is quite crucial and you can have a go yourself using the in built tutorials (checl help>hand-ons tutorials, type "mask" in the search bar, and you'll be able t follow the tutorial in Photoshop interface)

Are you trying to make it look like it's a part of the ground, almost like it was painted onto the asphalt? If so, you've got the perspective pretty close (might be ever so slightly tilted leftwards too much), you'd just need to do some blending with the texture of the ground. Which is a little tricky in that particular spot because of the deformation of the road (the chunk missing on the right side)

Yeah, carved / stamped / inlayed. Gotcha, well it will still inherit some of the texture properties of the ground material. So you'd want to play around with adding depth by embossing or beveling, and then blending by either adding a rough texture on top or setting it to a blend mode that looks best

Just any kind of overlay that you can use to "roughen" it up a bit, whether that's creating a black and white noise layer on top and setting it as a clipping mask over the logo, or clonining that section of ground onto it's own layer, or finding a png online that's close to the texture of the ground. Any kind of texture that's going to make the logo look less "clean" or "digital", that will help it blend into your background to composite better.

Pillow emboss could be the good one and don't hesitate to pile up several inner shadows effect to accentuate the carving effect.
Note the fact your logo is really busy you may struggle to find settings which give you a good result...

It looks like the angle settings are not the same (but it could be OK depending your image and the result you like)
Values put in my exemple are just for a demo purpose...you'll have to tweak yours.
Tips: when stacking different effects with different angles don't forget to untick "use global light" option. If you don't when you change angle on one effect all the others with this option "On" will change for the same angle.

In my exemple the 4 effects have a different angle so I unticked all 4 "use global light" option.

When you say blank does it mean transparent or white?
You have to make a selection of the faces you want to place and mask them. Then you can smoothen edges painting on the mask with a soft brush.

Great news... I'm not sure for layer styles but in Illustrator when you open the EPS file (as shown earlier) you should have a group for each layer.
You may have to redo the color fills and strokes but all the vectors should be in the EPS file.

You can try to do something like that... A quick made exemple... Rough selection and mask of your character> Paper texture below with a rougher selection and mask too.
Filter gallery - Glass effect (frost mode) on each layer mask to distress the contour.
Add subtle drop shadow to both layers to sell the effect... Paper texture choice is a key point (mine is dull) try to find one with lot of texture for a better effect.
Note: in video to display the mask only the shortcut used is Alt+Click on mask thumbnail.

I would suggest you to try to create a red to black dark background > turn it to Smart Object > Camera Raw filter> Play with settings...Particularly the "Effects" section (Texture,Clarity and Grain)... Smart Object will allow you to come back and tweak settings afterwards if you need.

I'm looking for a specific way to do a warp transformation. I'm wondering if anyone has tried or found a way to warp a raster image by turning your selection into a path and then distorting it with handles as if it were a vector image. You don't need to export every layer as a file. You can import Photoshop Docs into AE with Import > Composition - Retain Layer Sizes and AE will make a new Composition with all the Layers in it.

There are some things to watch out for like choosing to merge Layer Styles and all that but there are tutorials on YouTube that discuss all this. It would be advised to watch some of those if you're not familiar with After Effects.

Yes, I'm aware of puppet warp but it's just not quite what I'm looking for. I'm wanting to use the selection to stretch the texture of the area between the shoulder and the collar a little bit while also keeping certain points of the outline in exact positions. In my mind it would be the easiest way to simplify my workflow for adding texture or redefining the shapes of objects.

I'd want the ability to transform the "stroke" of my selection as if it were a shape including the uniform stretching that would come with it.

Hmm I'm not aware of anything that would do that for you. What you can try is to make the selection as you mentioned, then cut that part out and rotate it to where you want it to be, then use stamp tool or a cut-out and warped part of the fabric for the inbetween.

Then Select > Load Selection... and choose the one you saved to load it up again.

Hello ! Is there a way to "continue" a line without the need of adjusting manually where to continue the line? I tried to use the pen tool, but when I merge layers it makes weird shapes like connecting the dots from the other paths. not entirely sure what you mean here. Try holding ctrl and clicking on blank space to prematurely end your path with the pen tool. Also check out the paths tab and save each shape when you are finished creating it so they don't merge with the next.

It looks like your original image was WIDER (8000+) but your export settings are set to be 4000 sq.

I'm trying to adjust the levels of an exr image, but PS is incorrectly showing the histogram being too far to the right.

I have to make at minimum 50 ads. each ad is the exact same just with a different product in each image. each ad has 6 of the same images per ad.

so to make it fast if I could just just change the image and keep everything else. so think like you have 6 squares that are green in ad 1, then ad 2 is the exact same but the squares are now orange. (but its not just color its a full image change so I cant just change the color) I have to import the image and then resize and reposition it 6x time per ad.

I could just change that "square" to another image file and not have to move or change anything else it would make the job 50x faster.

Not entirely sure I know your end goal, but you could duplicate the layer, make it a solid colour... and then just CLONE that like... 20 times to make it SOLID throughout

For that I would use Illustrator with linked files. You add all the linked files you want, then in the Window-Links menu, just replace them.

I wouldn't say any kind of "filter" but it might look more like how you want it if you shrunk it down smaller then re-enlarged it. Also throw a blend if gray and turn the black up a little.

Select the hat, then hit ctrl + T to transform it. Then shrink the image so that the pixels compress giving it the "scuffed" look. Then press ctrl + t and bring it back up to size.

If you double click the layer. The layer style menu will pop up, it should go straight to blending option. The second from the bottom will have a gradient bar. The hat will look a little better if you move the black marker to the right a bit. If it takes out too much detail, then hold alt and click on the same marker it will split it, then drag it back until it looks smooth.

You need to add a bit of shadow on the bottom edge of the hat> then reduce the brightness of white (Levels) > Reduce saturation of the reds (Hue and Saturation - Red range)> Add a bit of yellow in highlights (color balance - highlights)> Add a subtle Mosaic filter + gaussian blur it to match the pet artefacted image...

This is probably some sort of watermark, usually put there to avoid the image being stolen.
In any case you will not remove them with channels, just with the good old stamp tool. But in case you need to know, removing watermarks are forbidden!

Channels would be useful if you had only one colour info for the watermark, it's obviously on all the channels

You need to ask the original creator of this drawing and see if they would allow you to use it (in exchange of payment I presume)

You can either have a gradient over the top that is BLACK throughout, but the opacity reduces to 0%

Oh, I messed with the opacity, now I can see little bit through, but this is not the result im really going for haha

To be honest, the first 12 seconds should be enough

Your gradient just needs to look like this

BLACK all over

but the opacity goes from 100% on LEFT and 0% on RIGHT

(oh mine was on 'reverse' still no wonder it felt backwards to me)
