Being honest, its not a glamorous story. I just got rid of my job and that I do to pay bills. I feel exhausted. I always felt relief, while doing anything creative. Be it video editing or sketching. I've mostly used tools for mobiles. I recently bought creative cloud and would love to learn more. I would love to stories in a creative ways. Who knows? Maybe one day, it would be a reality.

I'm finding that Discord has also matured quite a bit, so I'm fumbling around LOL. I will say that the amount and quality of "How-to" PS tutorials have improved and grown significantly, and Photoshop has evolved and changed a lot too, as has the industry in general. my project is about heavy gravity and raw texture. no filters, no ai, and absolutely zero skin retouching. i have more texture than your favorite brush set and more curves than a sardenian road.

stop trying to fix what isn’t broken and come see what real, unedited italian skin looks like under a lens. it’s more complex than your 100-layer .psd file.

Hi again everyone I did my first intro then I got member in this community 2018, I am Robert acka Kajrov from Sweden. Now 7 year after i'm not try to learn how Photoshop ticks, now I look what limits Photoshop included Genfill and Genexpand have.

I'm still work in Adobe Dreamweaver the program that get me to select Adobe Creative Cloud, after coming from Allier HomeSite - Macromedia HomeSite- and now under the Adobe umbrella, I will say this to you how still coding your website, HTML, JS, PHP and other web language, I have still not found any program how is so ´flexible as DW for the Desktop if you don't use reference books and Notepad++ and go real hard cord.

I'm still learning then it come to design, edit, animation, painting digital, I don't dock paint traditionality, compare to you all skilled artists how use Creative Cloud, but I have learn a lot special from Maddy Bellwoar and Jack Watson, VooDoo Val, Codi, Hoch, Anna, Anika, Jess, Alanna, Wade, Kladi and you others in the community, Photoshop, Illustrator, Express, Firefly and Pr/Ae and Adobe Live.

I'm more interest in the technical side of a program or a craft, what tools to use and how you can use them even it only blob on the canvas

Howdy! Been using Photoshop since v.2.5 (installed from 13 floppy disks), former fashion retoucher, former automotive designer, and now a GenAI dev manager, and part-time panoramic photographer.

I started around Photoshop 3 on a Mac Performa LC630 my dad bought me, so I love meeting fellow long-time users who’ve seen the whole evolution.

I think Photoshop 3.0 was when they added layers, right? Amazing at the time. Hard to believe we're on version 27 now!

I worked for years at Autodesk Toronto on 3D software for car design and animation, and some of my panoramas are still the default HDR environments in the software. (Oh, now I remember when Photoshop added 32-bit support!)

And yes, I stay curious about new tech, including GenAI, but being able to skillfully edit the output is what takes "good enough" to "great" IMHO. 🧑‍🎨
