If there is no preview image in the save folder, there won't be a preview in game either but you can still open it and you will get a new preview image when the map is saved from inside the game

If you have a map.wbox file and you copy it in the same folder, it will be renamed because there can't be two with the same name. That leads to a bunch of maps not working because they need to be named exactly map.wbox for the game to open them

I have been wanting a river tile and some bridges for years

but instead I got candy biome and DNA minigame

Basically it happens passively over time in their house (higher tier houses and some biomes like clover give more), plus from a bunch of actions like farming and mining

People earn money as "loot" first, which gets taxed to the village leader. By default, they get 50% of a villager's loot as it gets converted to gold

The village leader pays 50% of that to the king as tribute

Kingdom traits change this

which have minimum damage but lots of health

minimum damage actually works out for them

They can attack other things more

so they can get more eggs out of them

But this causes like

I got one, slowly start by making separate islands and put humans on one and elfs on the other, pick one of each as the leader, each 100 years add anothef race until your left with them fighting for eternity so its endless suffering

Make a world with a hundred kingdoms, choose a king and make him your avatar and try to conquest and unify the world using plots or "whisper war"
if you are successful, then give this king all the good traits except inmortality so it would eventually die and you can see how your empire crumbles away.
If you lose, then select another king and repeat

Create a world with X island, each island gets populated with a race.
Create a central island
Every X years, choose the strongest, most renowned, or highest-level unit from two kingdoms. Force them to fight and the losers kingdom (and species) is wiped off the map, and its island is repopulated by another species.
