Once made a acid person death camp for an entire kingdom cuz I found out one of them killed one of my favorites units 60 years ago.

I regret that because they took over some random island and grew like 20x in population

Because of this I fear what other users have done as I consider myself a peaceful and merciful ruler.

Also the time I made a human species that was just immobile blood cells. They were hyper intelligent but could not do anything.

They also ate dirt and sunlight

Eventually their spores spread their species out enough for them to make a kingdom.

Somehow they eraditicated the foolish plant people who shared the island as they were powerful and the plant people dumbly rushed to attack them in war.

Eventually I let them move

And much later I reverted them to humans after they proved their worth

Also the time I caused a zombie outbreak on a semi isolated jungle island with monke people.

It was horrible

A sImilar thing happened in an continent of orcs I usually never pay attention to.

There are like 4 kingdoms there and they mostly just fight and kill each other.

Look for items in every kingdom, especially made by interesting people. Favourite those items and make them eternal. Keep doing that every time there's a new kingdom (give them some time to make new stuff so it is listed from that kingdom). Eventually you will have a deep history of artifacts from all over your world

I like this more now than favoriting people because the people die but eternal items remain

And you can have eternal items made by your favourite people so those remain after they are gone. Or after their kingdom is gone. I've had one guy making eternal items for multiple kingdoms they were part of
