As for random traits, there's no way to prevent being born with random traits but you can prevent units from gaining random traits as they grow up by removing all mutation genes (2nd picture)

The worst part about the newer version of worldbox is that the bordergore that just forms compared to the last version is rather horrendous

I feel like

alliances and wars should occur MUCH more often if the nations are bordered or close

and that nations can have the option to declare war if armies decide to walk on their land (if the armies decide to do that, which they usually shouldn't)

and make shattering kingdoms (due to the main clan disappearing) split between the clans

So if 4 cities are from clan A, then clan A forms a kingdom with those 4 cities

etc etc

Considering the tech panel is on the village UI I assume it's going to work similarly to the tech spread of ck2 where a village leader or king makes a tech breakthrough and then it spreads quickly to neighboring villages.

and i guess capitals will have a buff to tech breakthroughs, although it would be very cool if an immortal intelligent leader of a village on the edge of the kingdom could become a technological powerhouse itself so they're guaranteed to be a tremendous threat in a rebellion
