I think this game has potential to make it really huge, with the right marketing campaign.

I think locking content unless you do the 500 elves sacrifice ritual was a mistake since alot of people who buy the game don't know about it. having all content unlocked should be the default option.
(the unlocking content thing could be a game mode though)

Make that change, and do an effective marketing campaign with a string of new updates and build it to the release out of early access

Decided to make all civs xenophile or join or die at game start, I guess if they make a new civ later then they can kill eachother, but it’ll give the world abit of time for other races to spread before xenophobes without join or die emerge

If things in my world ever get too stable I think I’ll definitely give species plagues but I want to watch them actually become stable first before I knock them down, only 100-200 years is very short though i think i might take up to 1000 years before unified empires form

There is one pretty strong empire in the east with lots of territory (in comparison to other empires) however it’s being held together by fucking duck tape and an immortal king
If that guy ever dies it will instantly fracture

I’ve been trying hard to make balanced species, the most physically powerful race has 400hp and the one after it about 300hp, but most species are 75-150HP but a few are 215, and species with innate magic are like glass cannons with just 100 hp for having access to spells
