It is my personal view that worldbox needs more sea based content, so heres the stuff i thought of, first the Krakken and the Sea Beast. the Krakken would be similar size to Crabzilla, the sea beast would be like a sea locked dragon.

heres the stuff that would actually effect stuff. first the fishing hotspot, an area that would give more fish if a kingdom has learned to look for them. and the Siren Rock, when a boat is nearby, a portion of the crew will jump off and swim towards the rock in which they would die, unless they have earplugs

With the new “Enlightenment” power you can rain onto almost animals, giving them Humanoid-like appearance and abilities. They can learn most cultural knowledges and create towns.

They’ll keep some of their animalistic abilities and habits, herbivores will only eat plants for example, some carnivores will attack anything in sight similarly to orcs, snakes can poison their weapons, monkeys can throw “rocks” and all their other traits stay the same.

New weekend, new idea! Harpies!🪶

Harpies are a new type of humanoid creature. They can be spawned manually, and you can place a “Harpy Nest” that works similarly to demon towers, spawning up to 5 harpies.

They’ll have very little health and defense, but they’re fast and have powerful attacks. They’re also airborne, so unless you have a bow, the only chance to hit them is while they swoop down to attack you.

Making a simple rework of armours in game, because it feels weird that some armours look more protective than others even if its a lower level (and the steel frogmouth helmet is blind lol)

Little update, everything is work in progress (lots of minor changes, teal armour needs muscle cuirass detail) and i don't know if making the iron armour look like Viking gear is smart (especially since alot of the brown is gone)

Yep a few got it right all of it is AI art. U can tell on the first image of the human anime design the eyes are a bit blurry weird when up close. The pixel art not all of the squares were equal/uneven. The Dragon having two noses. Lastly the dragon red and white when up close a bit of detail gone/uneven. It is hard to tell I mean this took me 5 minutes to make. It is hard to guess it is AI when there isn't a bunch of details like the previous art above mine especially the words not making sense is how you can guess it is AI or hands/limbs. Anyway what I found out it isn't easy to work out if it is AI art or not in some cases. Thanks for your time

Just to clarify on the pixel art one it happens with real art, it's called Mixels and they happen. Mostly with improper resizing of projects, or begginers trying to force in detail by increasing the original image size even if its 8 bit and detailing it.

Pixel art AI's can do alot of great stuff, but mostly AI is used for animation with Voxels, Polygons, and SDF's rather than design.

Hello! I just got the artist role but I've made a ton of worldbox related art in the last year. Most of it I've never shown on here (at least not directly).
I tried to figure out a way to post it all at once but it's a bit too much to include all in one post so I'll make posts here gradually. I'll make sure to include a brand new art piece with each of these posts.

Here's the old:
1. [Featuring all 5 mages] are two separate images (combined into one for this post). I made these 2 mage fights as nice little images for the wiki on the "Mages" and "Other Mages" pages. Some of you may recognize the top one with the White and Evil mage from the server's recent halloween event where a __recolored __version of it was displayed for the final turn (this is where the brand new art comes in).
🪺 2. The [12 eggs] pictured here are colored in versions of the blacked-out icons from the first egg sneak peak from June 3rd. If you haven't noticed two of these blacked-out icons were revealed in the sneakbox steam post.
🌱 3. The [7 seeds] here were actually inspired by a very similar idea with me coloring in blacked-out biome seed icons from the sneak peak from Sept 4, 2023. When I made these I expected (and still expect) most of them to be far off from what the seeds will actually look like and just tried to have fun with it.
🔥 4 & 5. The [Flame Druid] was something I just randomly wanted to make one day. I happened to have the evil mage sprite right next to the druid and just got inspired in the moment. Definitely one of my favorites even if it is mostly just a recolor. Here's what the description would be: She snapped after ages of being powerless while mages burned down the worldscape and decided it was time to fight fire with fire

• Gold Items: I did share this with a few people already but for the most part no one has seen these. I made this set of items about a week ago. Worldbox has bronze and silver items so why not gold? ||It's basically useless right now anyway ||
• Dragon Scale and Flame Items: Inspired by the flame sword and unused dragon scales item (https://the-official-worldbox-wiki.fandom.com/wiki/Dragon_Scales)
• 🛡️ Shields: I bet some of you have noticed how shields are already in the game but right now they are just cosmetic and not actual items. So I made icons and recolored versions of the already existing shields to reflect material visually (similar to weapons). Weapons

• 🔪 Scythes: These were first posted here: #🎨art message. Would be a weapon with a decent critical chance, low base damage, and long + wide range.
• 🔱 Tridents: Were posted with Scythes.^ Would be a throw-able weapon with low range but high damage. They would bonuce a little bit back toward the unit that threw it unless the victim dies. Units would have to run to retrieve the item to use it again.
• 🏹 Crossbows: I think worldbox needs some other ranged weapons to compete with bows ||(maybe catapults too 👀 )||. These would have less range and fire rate but be more accurate and deal more damage.
• ⛓️ Maces and Flails: Slow attack speed and low range in exchange for massive damage and knockback. And maybe a bit of a splash effect (like hammers bit a little weaker).

(all of these except the gold items have been posted openly somewhere else before now, mostly reddit)

For these I was mostly going for "what would different spawners look like if they were merged together?".
On the first image here are what each __columns __contain:

1. Original Spawners [Biomass, Tumor, Super Pumpkin]
2. Alternate Spawners (supposed to represent of the opposite of the originals [Blind, [Spongor] [Super Apple])
3. Cybercore Merged Spawners [Illusion, Smokor, Hyper Turret]
4. Biomass Merged Spawners [Corroded (Biomass + Tumor), Symbior, Mega Nest]
5. Super Pumpkin Merged Spawners [Infested, Injector, Super Rot (Super Pumpkin + Tumor)]
   The second image is all about the Cybercore. Descriptions and things are all based of the actual Cybercore (cybercore minions are called assimilators)

• Biocore, slow units and shotguns deal more damage but have less range.
• Electroncore, fast units with high damage and long range snipers but they have a very slow fire rate.
• Viruscore, units are very vulnerable to fire. They come with a low damage shotgun that poisons and infects victims
• Pumpkore, normal units with shotguns that have high knockback

All of these podiums can be found in the game's assets I did not make them. What I did was I took the empty podiums and moved the original statue (far left) onto the other podiums and then edited the statues to reflect the weapons each race prefers:

• Humans (far left) - Prefer swords
• Elves (left) - Prefer Bows
• Orcs (right) - Prefer Axes
• Dwarfs (far right) - Prefer Hammers (I also made the statue a little shorter )

New Things -----------------------------------------------------------------
The Greater Crab. Greater crabs are a type of crab that only spawns in a specific circumstance in game. Up to four of them spawn when Crabzilla dies (**happens in vanilla **game). They come with 4 extra traits normal crabs don't have [evil, fire blood, fire proof, tough]. They don't have a unique skin and just use the normal crab texture so I decided to make one (probably going to add it to a mod eventually).

SneakLinkSlides (SLS). This is not really the normal type of art you see here, but I've been putting several hours into making this slide show for menus that have been revealed over time in **sneak **peaks/teasers for the upcoming update. You have to be in present mode to have the buttons work on the first click. The final slide has a feedback form if your interested.

New Mob - Monk
Once a Monk is spawned it wanders around the lands and finds a peaceful kingdom to meditate in.
Once Three Monks have shared the same plane of existence for Hundred Years they ascend to Stage 3.
If One of these Three Monks is killed they revert to their regular form.
Now After this if the Monks have stayed in Stage Three for 500 Years, They Ascend further to Stage 4. Here they unlock special abilities and a New Form ( Unification ).
Unification is showed in Figure 5.

Once a society involved in Dark Arts unlocks Interdimensional Summon (Fig 1), It can Summon the Lower Eye Tower (Fig 2) that stands in the Kingdom. If ever there is war going on within kingdom boundaries, the towers summons its interdimensional Hands (Fig 3) and helps to battle enemies. The Hands after summoning can roam around the Kingdom as they will. Another Pair of Hands can only be summoned once both of the summoned hands die. If the Tower collapses and reverts from this plane of existence, leaving the hands unsupervised.... The Hands get turned into God Finger.

Lime and Glided Orange Biomes
I made the lime biome several months ago but never shared it here. I made some slight edits and added some more stuff to it for this post though.
The "Glided Orange" biome is something I haven't shared anywhere as I just finished making it. Both of these biomes are inspired by the lemon biome.

More Info

• Biome Seeds: In the middle right of the 2nd image in both sections you can find the biome seeds (foods with the faces)
• New Foods: In the top right of the 2nd image is the orange and lime as a food that unit's could consume. In the bottom right there is the special soda version. In the third image you can see how civs would craft the sodas along with how much hunger and health the sodas, orange, and lime restore and traits/statuses they would have a chance of giving.
• Mobs in the lime biome are friendly and the mobs in the orange biome are aggressive. Limes have the same stats as lemons but have the acid immunity trait by default (lemons have poison immunity). You can see the stats and default traits of the new mobs in the 4th image
• Little lime name: Lime Gurl (little lemons are called "Lemon Bois")
• Big lime name: Lime Woman (big/humanoid lemons are called "Lemon Men")
• Little orange name: Orange Child
• Big orange name: Orange Brute

However in that tomb of gold and mystery their savior would emerge the Snake Queen, cursed by the same forgotten god. Here's an advice, if the frame rate is slow you may need to speed it up by removing frames of the projectile, because you don't have to keep frames of it traveling and just it going through phases, those phases for me are the release, travel, and impact and can be done like the follwing @uneven bear

Not really, dragons were dangerous sometimes.

And wyverns can be tamed.

Yeah I think dragons like the ‘Red Dragon’ that we’re always in movies kind of had bad rep. But Wyverns taming is an extremely dangerous and long process especially when wild. Unlike most dragons in mythology, Wyverns are not the smartest of creatures. a lot of dragons in lore are sentient and can talk in some depictions but Wyverns are more comparable to chihuahuas. Angry but smart compared to the animals around them. I think if they are added to the game they could add dynamics to the game that could upgrade transport like level 2+ villages could actually tie these creatures down and tame them for travel purposes.

Trait ideas- Radiation exposure, sick, and mutated. How will they work?
Radiation Exposure- when a creature is within the radius of a tsar or atomic bomb when it explodes, and lives. Decreases attack speed, and diplomacy(?). Chance of occuring: 70%
Sick- although similar sounding to the plague trait, the “sick” trait will not be contagious, and will just take some of a unit’s health, but not all. This trait could or could not be one of the effects of radiation exposure. If a unit already has radiation exposure, the chances of this occuring are 50%.
Mutated- this trait is probably the most interesting trait out of these three. The “mutated” trait will cause physical changes to the unit’s body, as seen in the image below. It will also reduce the unit’s life span (if old age is off) by 25%. Also, lowers critical hit and attack speed. This trait is only attainable by a bombing. Chance of occuring if already having the radiation exposure trait: 25%
-all three traits can will disappear with divine light

After talking a little, I have made another new trait. This trait will be called “animal-friendly” (need better name ). This trait will make the unit friendly to all normal animals- chickens, cows, turtles, crabs, penguins, cats, sheep....etc. Although the Elves already are peaceful with these animals, there is no trait to show it. So, this trait would be another racial trait for elves, and a trait given randomly at birth to the other races. The chance of this trait occuring in Humans or Dwarves will be 1%. Since the Orcs have the “savage” trait, the chance of this trait occuring will be 1%, if the orc doesn’t have the savage trait. (Idk if thats even possible tho)

Idea- better animation for when a unit turns into an undead creature. Currently, the animation that happens when a unit turns to a zombie/skeleton is the spawn animation, but I think it would be more fitting if it was a darker, more necromancer-ish animation.

Another idea- Now that we are getting a more developed food system, where different units like different kinds of food (from Maxim’s tweet also in #📣announcements ), I think there should be some sort of outdoor market, just as a visual to show that a civilization has developed and has made multiple types of food.

-decrease in diplomacy
-possibly reduced life span, since humans are social creatures and didn’t have phones in medieval times
-less likely to reproduce
