How to access the worldbox data folder on android 11 to 13.
If steps below don't work or android 14+ use these alternative methods :

1. Download a third-party application like "File Manager" from google play,
2. Now go to your phone’s "settings" application, after that find/search an factory system application called "Files" (has a darker blue background with a big white folder in the center of the icon), then click it,
3. you will be showed the "app info" screen after clicked the "Files" application, find the three dots button,
4. After you see the three dots button, click the three dots button and then if it has an "uninstall updates" option there, make sure to choose the option (wait until the uninstalling process is done and completed to avoid a mistake),
5. Now open the third-party application (File Manager) and allow it to manage files,
6. Find the "Android" folder and open it, then open the data folder,
7. You'll see some popup, touch "ok"/"yes" and also touch the "use this folder" button at bottom without opening any files that are showing,
8. If you have succeeded, the app will now have access to android file and can enter the saves folder in "com.mkarpenko.worldbox" folder.

Hi, I downloaded a map from Discord and I'm having trouble loading it in the game (PC/Steam version).
What I did:

Downloaded the .wbox file from Discord
Placed it in %AppData%..\LocalLow\mkarpenko\WorldBox\saves\save1
Renamed it to exactly map.wbox
The file is 67 KB (not corrupted)
Closed WorldBox completely and reopened it

The problem:
The map doesn't appear in any save slot in the game. I tried save1, save2, and even save10, but nothing shows up. The game acts like there's no map file there.
What I've tried:

Deleted map.meta file
Restarted the game multiple times
Checked the file name is exactly "map.wbox" with no extra characters
Made sure WorldBox is completely closed (checked Task Manager)

File structure:
WorldBox/saves/save1/map.wbox (67 KB)
Is there something else I need to do to make the game recognize the map file? Any help would be appreciated!

1. Download map.wbox file
2. Press Open in... then save to files
3. Select the worldbox folder then the saves folder
4. Press the 3 dots button next to save and create new folder
5. Rename that folder to save1 or any other valid number.
6. Open that folder and press save.

open file explorer, click on your C: drive, then the Users folder, then your username, etc.

full file path is C:/Users/(your username)/AppData/LocalLow/mkarpenko/saves

then you open a save# folder (let’s say save1) & replace the map.wbox file with a map.wbox file you downloaded
