If it didn't prompt you to install the mods you had for the current version, that means they aren't beta supported yet and making a mod beta supported takes a long time + editing mods without creators permission is unadvised, just saying. I'd just wait for the creator of the mod to update it to the beta version.

If you are confident you can update a mod to beta, then you can do that

How to unlock the Debug Tools/Debug Menu:

1. Press the "Game Settings" button (the one with a ⚙️ icon) besides the achievements button, in the main tab of the game.
2. After clicking the button, it will open up a menu called "Other". In this menu, you will see another button called "Settings" (once again with a ⚙️ icon), click that button too to enter the settings.
3. "Settings" is The menu that contains some stuff like Interface/UI, Audio, and Graphics settings. Ignore all of those and focus on the burger icon in top left corner of the settings window.
4. Click that burger 11 times until a green bug appears in top right corner of your screen, and done! Clicking the button takes you to the games Debug Menu!

If you own a PC, you can install maps on iOS as described in this guide: #1213490166023331850 message .
Otherwise, if you only have your iOS device, it's impossible to install maps on iOS because the operating system refuses to give you access to the game files that you'd need to insert the map into.

oh thats caused by the mutant box rule. Seems that you disabled it, but the subspecies was already created. Maybe is the metamorphosis of a subspecies that has the heartbeat trait.

I had the same trouble with some crabs that came from the sapient crab species

Hi guys is it possible to prevent a species from gaining population. I’m trying to create a species that has one singular person in it. I’ve taken out anyway of breeding and added infertility to that one person. But yet as soon as that one person starts a village the population increases but he/she has no children. Is this a bug or is it supposed to be like that?

How to unlock the Debug Tools/Debug Menu:

1. Press the "Game Settings" button (the one with a ⚙️ icon) besides the achievements button, in the main tab of the game.
2. After clicking the button, it will open up a menu called "Other". In this menu, you will see another button called "Settings" (once again with a ⚙️ icon), click that button too to enter the settings.
3. "Settings" is The menu that contains some stuff like Interface/UI, Audio, and Graphics settings. Ignore all of those and focus on the burger icon in top left corner of the settings window.
4. Click that burger 11 times until a green bug appears in top right corner of your screen, and done! Clicking the button takes you to the games Debug Menu!
