The way I make worlds is I typically do beaches all the way around but that's just personal preference.
I've found a way of making mountains I really like too, where I use the 1st brush on the top row to draw a line for the mountain peaks and then I go over it with the 1st or 2nd brush on the bottom row using the raise elevation tool. sometimes I top them with snow, sometimes not.

I don't know, they are a great population, when I saw that the update included a potential biome for the dwarves (the one with glass) and several new stones, I got excited, however, I entered, I was taking care of my only settler and immortal king who was at 45 life (he is 1000 years old already, so I take care of him a lot since he was my fifth villager) and then I saw the village of the dwarves and To put the new biome on them, enlarge it and put a lot of minerals on it, and apparently there were already more dwarfs

Yes, in the same way and around the corners, I paused the world so that they would not move and my other kingdoms in conflict would confuse me in turn, when Hispania was a 23% less than it is now.

I also have a preference for long thin mountain ranges over the big blocky ones I see a lot of people do.

I just really like this game. It's more passive once you get into it and you can basically do whatever you want. I like seeing how things pan out with very little input on my part.
