I got a question I just started today and I been trying to do quick scav runs of the factory and I’ve only ever run into other player scav who don’t attack when I wiggle or do mumble but the moment I try to loot something or turn my back I get killed . Should I be killing other scav S on sight because it’s getting pretty impossible to scav

you dont have to kill other player scavs, but they will always shoot you in the back when you are looting or doing something.

people just want a free easy kill. if you keep moving around and shit they likely wont shoot at you because they dont want to miss.

sounds like you just need to learn the game more. people rarely "camp" certain areas to just snipe people unless they are doing a task. you probably just walked into somebody and didn't notice them

Also people say to play customs in guides but I’m finding it the hardest map to stay alive compared to woods or shoreline for example

guides say that because the vast majority of starter quests take place on that map. Customs is a strange map because the people there are either new people trying to do their starter quests or end-game people just going there for pvp. there is no in between usually

uhmm, look at the woods map online, it has a fairly good mapping of the map and you can navigate your way there, its dangerous because of ol' Schturman

my best advice is use your compass, certain spawns are more northwards, etc etc, look around for landmarks and triangulate where your spawn is via the map, make sure to hide ina bush when you do, woods is hard but it easier if you plot your course as if you were navigating the area irl

youre going to effectively be playing a stealth game till you start learning map flow, getting some more cash, and getting flea

check spawns on websites like mapgenie and try to learn the way that players generally traverse the map. Once you do that you can try and take paths that wont be in those paths, which might let you get a decent advantage over those players

as far as taking on Chads, might not be easy without landing some good shots on them.
Might be best to just try and avoid them. Headphones > helmets

But I've literally died 3 raids in a row because an AKM fresh from Prapor jammed on the first mag.

I wish I recorded my gameplay so I could prove it, because not many people believe me.

Now sure, maybe the deaths were partially my fault; Could've had better cover, waited for a more advantageous time, etc. etc.

But 3 raids in a row a jam on the first mag... I know my luck is shit but god dayum.

Well, I rat because I suck at PvP. I find the enjoyment out of looting, with the occasional PvP when I'm with friends.

Too often I get head, eyes by people that either I couldn't possibly have seen, or its the Rambo types that eat all of my bullets despite me using mid-high tier ammo before two-tapping me to the chest. That, or Peaker's Advantage gets me killed.

Shoreline sorely needs new areas to interact with it. Your choices are:
A) Resort against Meta M4s.
B) Brave the woods and pray there aren't SVDs with thermals.
C) Pier, where you trap yourself from getting out.

• Give a 25% nerf to static loot spawns in themed areas (medical, military, tech, etc.). Themed areas should still be your best bet for finding high tier loot of that type, just a little less so.
• Increase loose loot areas chance to spawn high tier loot by like 15%~.
• Add more loose loot spawns to otherwise dead areas/areas with few loot spawn points. Throw in a safe that was buried in the storage areas next to Big Red. Add a campsite with duffel bags to random areas. Etc etc.
