Generally there will be some sort of indictor. Generally if a extract is against a gate or bullbar, then there should be a car there you pay to get in. Otherwise there will be lights, green gas, etc.

Like for instance the only exits that are always open on Customs are ZB-1011, ZB-1013 if you have the key and turn on the power, Crossroads, and Trailerpark
