The game itself isn't terrible, but the way the game registers hits and the netcode and using client authoritative mode are not doing it any favors.

desync or you can call bullet registration is not only tarkov issue. Because, it's not only depending on netcode. but bunch of other variables. Like latency of your internet. How far your PC is from your ISP box, ISP box to game server and similar.

desync/ bullet registration is hardest to fix. It happens even on 128 tic rate servers. I know from experience counter-strike servers runned myself bunch of them.

The biggest problem in this regard is that they use a client authoritative model, meaning your client tells the server where you are, versus server authoritative where the server determines where you are.

Client is easily hackable

They are frankly idiots for using that model in this day and age

If I were you, id play the free scav runs and try to get a feel for the game first

or play offline raids and just try to kill scavs for a couple of times

since you are low level and don't have flea market its best to find someone to play with and help you out with quests and kinda use this wipe to prepare for the next one

adjust your sound and graphics settings, read up on how the different ammo types work

while tarkov netcode seems to "eat" a lot of bullets, most likely you not hitting anything is actually you using bad ammo (understandable, since you have no access to good ammunition early on)

another tip to not die from ? is to always keep moving and actually learn the maps - id advise you to learn customs and woods first (for early game questing)

learn where you can sprint and where you have to take it slow relative to the spawn you get, also NEVER stick around in your spawn area and keep a map from the wiki open on 2nd screen or even print it out so you know where you are going until you learn the map

find the website that has the tarkov interact game maps, it will help you figure out where everything spawns, including player spawns, so you will have a better idea of where everyone starts when you load in

that should answer 3 and for question 4: the amount of money and the gear you start off with is very little

that being said tho, you can always go in with an 8k rouble pistol or simply with just your knife if you don't want to waste gear while still getting a feel for tarkov

players this late into the wipe will overgear you extremely hard so you shouldn't be discouraged if you die from players a lot

focus on getting the PVE and looting aspect down: good gear for fighting scavs would be a a headset, PACA armor, any backpack and an SKS with 7.62x39mm PS rounds or a mosin with 7.62x54R LPS gzh rounds

another tip is to always go for the head or chest (thorax) when fighting them, shooting stomach, arms and legs repeatedly will take long enough for the scav to injure you hard or kill you

Well this change is oriented around that. They want players who like to loot to be able to go to different spots than usual and find loot without having to go to the same room everytime that a chad like myself may be camping because we just want to kill the looters.

So they didn't take away your GPUs they just put them in different spots. They added more depth to the looting gameplay.

Things will always be as bad as you want to believe. Streamers will always complain because they spend all day playing games and it is their source of income.
