Why are you even here if you don't like the game? Go and play CoD. You're willingly purchased and played a game advertised as Beta and still in production you pleb. It's not getting done overnight, regardless of how much money Battlestate makes. Neither money, nor size of team, speeds up development significantly. It's a massive game with massive scope, it's going to be years before it's 1.0, and in the mean time we're going to see lots of changes and balancing. Deal with it or uninstall.

Also it tries to render shit actoss the map even though sight distance isnt all the way up. God fix that. To answer your question, no. The ballistics system is the core of what exactly makes Tarkov, Tarkov. You remove that and instead of what in your eyes is a shitty halo clone it just becomes a shitty warzone clone, the idea of the armor-ballistics balance is players each individually deciding the cost and benefit of running heavier armor and hotter ammunition versus lighter armor and more reliable ammunition.

Though with the armor overhaul some of your concerns will be mitigated since in reality armor doesn't entirely cover your body unless that's exactly what it's designed to do, certain armors will have gaps you'll be able to aim for

All rounds do damage though, even if armor stops it there's blunt damage done to the chest or stomach if you hit

In testing recently I've found it's possible to kill heavily armored players with blunt damage alone

Don't misunderstand me however, I'm not saying 'system perfect git gud'. It does have problems and needs work but moreso in the realm of tweaking numbers and getting everything to feel right instead of removing or overhauling it entirely
