not really, you get 0,01 per scav that someone killed so you can get 0.08 for example, especially when killing pmc on woods and shore, try it out bro, works great

no it doesn't work great. i don't think you've actually tried gaining scav karma that way. as a scav, most players are already dead or out of raid when you enter more times than not. also, trying to kill a bad player scav isn't likely since their timers are much longer anyway if they don't care about karma. if everyone cared about karma, there isn't any bad scavs to farm either. the system of gaining karma by killing bad scavs is in itself a diminishing return on value to be gained. so it is down to players. so what if a player scav, that is friendly, loots a player and looks like a player? you shoot them and kill them and lose karma now... the odds are stacked against you on gaining karma when you have to be right more than 5 times of being wrong. that means you HAVE to camp somewhere for hours upon hours hoping that someone kills an AI scav near you so you can try to kill that person. but even then, you have to make sure that the person you kill was that same person.

tl;dr do so because I prove the statistical impossibilty of getting max scav karma.

second implementation if you account for them nerfing it after it came out. obviously it was to combat the cheese leveling strat, but BSG is notorious for nerfing (which btw, they nerfed combat scav karma by a factor of 25 times!!!!) without buffing elsewhere or adding in something to maintain quality of life. for example, they could easily give scav karma for taking pier boat, train, or other extracts and make some of them paid as well. seems like smugglers boat and pier boat should be paid extracts. idk if any smuggler would ever work for free lol

Just extracting shouldn't give you karma (except for the pmc plus scav extract, the diminishing returns on that are stupid) so yea... we just gotta way and enjoy all that it gives us (so still way better gear on scavs)

the thing is tho, their first implementation had us gaining .2 scav karma for killing a bad scav or pmc and losing .02 for killing a friendly player scav or ai scav. that was their initial intention. but then to combat cheesing it, they nerfed that by 25 times.... sooooo did they buff anything else somewhere else? no... they just nerfed it. their original intent was to have people gain it at that original rate. it would be nice to have seen a different area get some love to combat that nerf but I guess they don't want people testing out max scav karma because even a grinder like myself won't risk shooting at all anymore. I just did because I saw the person kill a scav and still lost karma when killing them. it's broken
