In my experience, 16 Gigs was enough for most maps, but you will absolutely need that upgrade. For Streets and Lighthouse, you will experience stutters and possible crashes guaranteed.

Q: anyone else experience serious lag and slower load times suddenly? this happened to me starting 3 days ago.
Not sure what the issue is, the only thing of note is that i had followed a guide that recommended using the DSR (DL) factor settings in nvidia control panel.
I ddnt like the results, so i restored it back, however ever since i turned it on tarkov has been running incredibly choppy when i used to have literally no issues playing streets.
the choppiness is the same on streets as it is on factory atm.
Not sure if my thought to uninstall and re-install is a viable option, figured id ask you all 1st.

Really can't seem to get anywhere with tarkov..
Every raid scav or pmc I get 1 tapped across 100's of metres by a prestige 1 lvl 50 with like soem sort of decked out Marksman and high pen ammo. Or just die to someone who knows spawns and immediately kills me within 10 secs of raid

Is it worth me buying PVE to learn and progress in the game get more to use to the spawn quests etc whilst getting better at PC in general?

Pve is much more fun, as you know you won't ever be hacked and killed, but you also won't get the super fun pvp moments, and you won't find open keys and stuff, and sometimes the ai will just aimbot you, but that's occasionally

It helps with map knowledge a lot though if your new, as you can wander around and slowly learn where spawn points are and then you'll get more, and pvp is the most fun right at wipe. But later in the wipe everyone is super geared and it's just sweat-fests

this is my 3rd wipe so i know when someone runs into a group of 4 and full autos and gets 4 head shots with minimal dmg to other body parts-- its sus. The only other time ive seen sus aiming is when i get laser-d to thorax only or stomach and die to that (very rare now). Not gonna lie-- its been a while since ive seen blatant cheating like this. I dont think even Landmark wipes a group of fully geared ppl with starting gear within a 40 sec window

Yes all AI got a bit of a nerf this wipe. Scav guards and rogues will no longer full auto laserbeam at max aggro range, they'll single tap instead. Scavs less likely to just head pop you instantly. They did a bunch of AI changes.

rewards for bosses vary, but most have a chance at a labs keycard and shturman can have chance for red rebel and taiga which are like 1.7 and 6m respectively

People make a fuss because usually they are like 10%-30% through ought most of the wipe, and you are required to kill lots of them for tasks in the game, it has nothing to do with their loot

Wipes are there to keep interest in the game. It is boring if you just get a new map and thats it if you still have all your stuff also quest lines get changed etc. It has nothing to do with weakness or no endgame content
