Just because it’s in the sky does not mean it was fired correctly

For example if you look straight up, it will fire at a 45 degree angle upwards of where you aimed, so it will go behind you, you need to aim straight forward

And if you aren’t inside the signal zone when you fire it, it also will not work

Some serious advice tho, this is very dependent on your personality type.

I would suggest getting into PVE first to learn the maps, quests and all that Tarkov has to offer.

Once you are experienced on the maps and how tasks work, then get into PVP, it's a lot less forgiving as you will lose loot alot more often and encounter cheaters (which are infuriating).

I agree with most of what you said. There are certainly not as many cheaters as it's made out to be by the community. However, in most of the videos, streams, google searches, reddit posts and excerpts I've seen, there seems to be a consensus towards a large cheating problem in the game. An example, one interview I saw, the cheater said that around 40-50% of raids have at least one cheater in them.

To anyone asking about the launcher captcha, for one reason or another, your PC is accepted as being a proxy for some reason. I disconnected my wifi cable, and tethered mobile data from my phone service provider and it didn't even ask me for a captcha.
