1 : I think making statements on things that are not verifiable and are largely reactionary is a bit silly - as someone whose been playing tarkov since Alpha.
2: The problem I have with stats like 11K and 30K is that we don't know if thats unique users or just accounts that were banned. If the same hacker gets banned 10 times over the ban wave period is that a good thing or a bad thing? etc etc. As far as productive way of earning money, I think that is fairly subjective , sure there is SOME percentage of the cheating community that makes money from it , but I doubt its any real percentage ( I will concede that is literally just being skeptical with no real sources)

1b I think you put a lot of weight on the "wiggle" interviews, and are really not considering the sources of that info , not goat but the people he's talking to. They have nothing but incentives to lie and mislead people to thinking the cheating problem is larger than it is, cus it creates the idea " well everyone is cheating, I might as well" or otherwise ego pumps them. Trusting a biased source who is from the very start - a person who has no problem doing something ethically questionable ( I.e cheating). 3 Game balance questions are a kinda weird to point out as hypocritical considering the driving forces to these changes ARE THE PLAYERS. many many vocal people and public facing people have talked about WANTING these changes. so to ding BSG for them seems a tad silly.
