Weird notion: Scheduled wipes per character and not en masse.

Your character has 6 months of real time to Escape from Tarkov, starting from first login. Every six months that timer resets along with your stash and character. This will keep a churn of players in each rough stage of quest/character/hideout progression.

They do it because they have new features and systems that need to be tested from the beginning of a playthrough again

If you want it to be fresh you can just start your wipe cycle whenever you want already with a profile reset

Sure, that was the original purpose, but it had a secondary effect too that makes the game better than it would be without it.

The original intent was for 1.0 to stop wiping but the current plan of record is to have a character that seasonally wipes. I think it's more interesting to stagger those across the playerbase than to do it all at once, personally.

Because you already have a large portion of people that think the last month or two of a wipe is stale to the point where they won't play the game until one happens, wipe is a very popular time for Tarkov and I think that's partly due to the fact that EVERYONE is being reset rather than just some people, if someone wants to recreate the early game experience for themself, they can already reset their game profile and do so, if you asked alot of players, their most enjoyable part of their 'wipe' would be the fresh wipe experience, because there is new content to check out, and everyone is starting from scratch again, the part of a wipe that makes it fun the that it's the entire community taking part in it, not just that your profile is being reset

The point of the wipe is that the game has a new feel each time, there is usually new content, weapons and sometimes even new locations, lots of changes to the game and everyone is being pushed to play and complete stuff fast and upgrade their hideout, it's a whole event for the game, it's not just a simple profile reset, otherwise people would be resetting as soon as they could

i ran into roughly the same amount of confirmed cheaters, not counting the sus ones that could be cracked or could be cheating but i was unsure. its hard to tell who is cheating with only 500 hours ;-;

Just think of it this way. The more experienced you become with gunfighting in this game, the higher probability you have of killing even the soft cheaters (Using ESP only). Lots of people do use only ESP, but they're still trash at shooting.

If you give up after dying to a cheater, you're letting them win. 😉

For this specific event (Hustle) Sanitar along with all the other bosses are only spawning at Health Resort at a 100% spawn rate. I bet you if you go to Shoreline and try to find Sanitar anywhere other than the resort, you’re going to be disappointed

but yeah idk man, you do you. But if the event says they only spawn at Health Resort then i don’t know why they’d appear anywhere else. I ran Shoreline a good bit this evening and they don’t really travel around. They just walk around the resort through the corridors, outside in the courtyard but i’ve never seen them leave beyond the walls (unless the goons are rushing you for shooting their gang). I’m not sure if they can or not, but i haven’t been rushed by Tagilla or Killa at all yet
