i would recomend it to learn PVP, but u will get used to a small map with a diffrent play style, so i would recomend learning customs first. just to learn the basics of the game

If you hit the legs, it distributes to the rest of the body with a 1x multiplier meaning all the damage is transmitted.
If you hit the arms you're gonna need 3 shots.
If you hit the stomach you get a 1.5x multiplier but still need 2 shots.
But I assume 220 means 220 HP damage to an unarmored part of the body, 100% of the time right?

Yeah it depends on the part of the body. arms blacked out will transmit 0.7x the damage they take to the rest of the body, distributed on a weighed system where you divide the surviving part's HP by the body's total HP (440)
legs will transmit 1x
stomach 1.5x so it boosts your damage.

you'll usually be okay taking an extra second against scavs and players at this stage of the game are likely to wear armor you won't break through easily so headshotting is better anyway
