some of the stutter is linked to how you load assets. Is affaected by ram latency& speed and by storage device speed. hence, it's suggested you install EFT on your fastest available drive (will both help with loading times and stutter).
Another cause is LOD loading. Reduce LOD visibility etc to minimum. But it will still occur, maybe not as much
third cause is tied to networking and server-side calculation of scav physics etc. Hence, the stutter is far worse when scavs are around.
Overall, for now you can only deal with cause #1. With Unity 2018 update, which should happen very soon, the stutter might be reduced a lot. All we have left is to pray

If you’re new, as fun as labs is to farm and get mad cash quickly, it’s going to get locked behind a keycard access or something similar shortly, so you really should learn other maps/routes to make money now while they’re not as populated
I mean I’ve only had the game since the XMAS sale, and while I enjoyed running labs with some mates and coming out making $200k a run, I realised that just doing that over and over to make money when it’s gonna get locked access will create a false “sense” of the game for me, so to speak
So I’ve barley played labs since and been doing all my quests etc and levelling up. About lvl 37 at the moment.

For gear fear, exactly what they said. Along with running in geared and if you die you need to tell yourself it’s not a big deal. You will learn to stop worrying about losing your gear and focus on enjoying the game and if you get out with more gear then it’s just a bonus
