Is there a way to do The Tarkov Shooter - Part 3 as a solo lvl18 player with 200h in the game? Every time I run factory I get obliterated by +5000h players with max gear.

the main thing that helped me was an advice from a friend that used to play EFT. He said.. until you memorize the spawns you are at disadvantage. So MOVE as soon as the match start doe snto matter where but move. Because if your neighbor spawn search and you are exactly where he expect you are doomed. Most maps mark spawns as well and extracts. They are usually marked as yellow triangles. Those are spawns. So load in find your spawn and see if there are spawns left or right.

Movement is key in this game. If you take shots, reposition. If you shoot and miss, reposition. So many people sit in the same spot after being engaged. Lose their line of sight and move then you can usually win the fight cause they stayed in the same spot and assume you did too.

Learn one at a time, use either a REEMR map on a second monitor/ phone as you play. Or an overlay app like ‘Tarkov Companion’ by overwolf.

Then just try and track your own location on the map you’re using, offline raids are best way to learn but you can learn only online if needed 🙂

A lot of people focus on the outskirts when learning a map but you really need to traverse across. Most quests will be sending you to a POI near the center or to the opposite side of where you are so you need to get your bearings focus on big landmarks. For example, woods has a huge mountain in the center. A big lake with a sawmill. A river on one side. Powerlines spanning across the center of the map and a little chain of ponds. Once you understand where you are, look at the map on your second monitor and understand what is in each direction.

Even so, you could be in the middle of the woods and be lost af until you run in to one of the landmarks. I still get lost and turned around some times.

The REEMR maps and Overlays all include how to use extracts btw, it’ll show where it is and flag any requirements such as a green flare or power turned on etc, have an extract in mind when you start. Most maps have 1/2 always available options to go for that 90% of people use

Good ammo spawns usually coincide with high loot areas hence being looted. A couple good spots imaged below that don’t get hit often (customs power stairs and woods out buildings at scav town)

Any high value tech spawn has a chance to be an AESA(phased array element), within the rogue base on lighthouse there’s about 10-15 high value tech spawn locations of which about ~7 will trigger a game, I’d watch a YouTube guide on looting specifically the rogue base for where to look 🙂 but due to rarity getting 1 a game would be hard, but that’s your best option other than labs

I did a couple things, changed my security on my SSD which has alot of storage space. Then deleted the old launcher and redownloaded that onto the SSD and that allowed me to download the game. Hopefully my computer can now handle this game

Yeah that’ll be causing a few problems. That 16GB of space is kinda like your pcs thinking space. Because your windows runs off that drive, everything your PC does even if it’s downloaded on your D drive, is ‘thought about’ by your C drive(as it’s running windows). You’ll see a massive upgrade in performance if you clear some extra space for your C drive to think. Maybe move some stuff from your c drive to your d drive

Magnum / express currently. Due to so many people not wearing helmets because of the event, aiming for a pellet to hit the face is best. These both have high damage per pellet and spread

Magnum is best for damage and 1 shot to face potential but causes extra recoil so keep that in mind

Typically best way to get kills is to get towards mid map crunch points then wait and listen, go towards shots and try catch someone who’s given their position away. The MP-18 is useful for allowing you to shoot at people far away, but if you sit in a sniper spot all game you’ll be lucky to see 1 person, and killing them with a gun that takes ages to reload per round is also a challenge

Fn 5.7 best pistol for sure, a budget but reliable option is the Kedr, low recoil, full auto and cheap bullets. Quite easy to headshot while full auto due to low recoil as well

Most attachments only give minor improvements and are worth selling if they dont fit anything
Suppressors however are especially useful, most need a special adapter which means they are useless, but the -PBS-4 doesnt, so it fits all 5.45 ak's keep that one
