I just do scav runs on maps I am not familiar with, not very efficient but it works over time. You can also "brute force" it by just playing offline raids and trying to get a bearing

thats really the only way to do it. buy a compass from Jaeger and it can make it easier. the other thing to do is to always scav on a map you are trying to learn

a compass will really help with that, it helped me my first few wipes. make sure you know which way is north on the map, locate your position, then line up the angle you want to go and look for a landmark on the horizon

Scavs usually have bright colours. Some wear green to trick you but you can always tlel by also voicelines

When you need ammo, do a linked search on your weapon. It'll show you all the ammo you can buy, just click through them and inspect them and grab the best one, typically the highest pen one

The plus side is that you were wearing trash so it doesn't matter. Just buy some new trash and go again

That's the beauty of Tarkov. You can try to run and gun or you can rat. In most cases you will die and hate the game but in that 5% that you win, it will be the best game you've ever played. Then next run you hate it again.

They kind of fumbled the bag with the story quests. Starting new players out on only a lvls 1-20 ground zero queue was supposed to try to address this but for whatever reason they send you all over to unlock maps in the story quest rather than doing the natural ground zero -> customs -> woods progression

Weapon is too damaged I believe. You can try repairing it and then selling it but that cuts into profits. Best options are to sell it to fence or repair it and sell it on flea if possible.

Things i do to up my chances, (after learning basic map routes) is to always take a headset at minimum and just play very very slow, almost never sprint. That way you will hear them and likely they will not hear you as loud.

Usually only use flashes for cultist they start randomly shooting if hit with one. But other than that nades are always better cause it usually makes them start to reposition. And shots on ai boss are always best during their run animations

if it happened via the in-game "looking for group" feature, there is nothing to do against TKing. You can report the slurs via the voip report button that is on the phrase screen. But that only applies while the thing is happening

There is also a threshold which if you exceed you have a chance of getting a 6 hour timer which means its either for hideout or quests

People have found doing 5 MP5s from peacekeeper seems to work. This one is for lower levels

Then for higher levels 2 suppresed MPXs
