you are locked into transitting, it can be any of the other transits iirc

you just cant interact with a transit and then use a normal extract

Damage to blacked out body parts gets spread evenly across the other body parts at a reduced rate (iirc 60%?).
This is how leg meta works, since there is no armour for legs you shred them with flesh damage ammo and the bleedtrough damage eventualy kills either their thorax or head giving you the kill. Very efficient with certain weapons.

what is the best map to look for bosses

not as in spawn rate but as in lower chance to getting shot by a pmc while fighting the boss

or all of em are equally hard to fight without getting disturbed by other pmcs

Probably this, but also depends if you are on pve or pvp, pvp everyone's probably going for the bosses, pve there's a good chance of bosses and pmc bots duking it out, but maps with good approaches to boss spawn locations where you can cover your back are probably gonna be like, reserve, streets, factory (though they seem to have skipped the 100% spawn rate on tagilla, maybe its still boosted a bit), shoreline (careful about running into the goons in the trees.

Once they are triggered on you, wait for them behind cover. They push one by one, easy kills

Never fight them from range, always have a corner to hide behind

This allows you to stay concealed from players too

Playing around with post effects as a whole helps a ton. Lots of things you can do to make it easier to see PMC's.

Not a bad idea to tweak it on individual raids to if rain or heavy fog to see further.

Post FX will make a huge diff. You cant make your monitor a 1440p on a 1080p and forcing it will make things run worse and not give you any improvements.

Also tweak overall graphics based on your individual computer build. Higher FPS while maximizing visibility in Post FX will take you far.

I have 4k hours playing on 1080 with no issues.

Lower graphics settings actually spawn less vegetation especially at distance. So if you are sniping you can cheese the graphics settings.

Your game wont look good but you'll be able to see PMC's like a GOD

Tweaking it to your own monitor and computer parts will always be better than copying someone elses settings though. There are some really good videos on YouTube explaining what each graphics and post FX setting actually does.

My Post FX settings work great for my build but look completely diff on my IRL friends setup. So we each use our own to great success.

Each monitor has different colors. So things will look different.

Super confused... bought the game yesterday with all expansion packs to play with friends who have played for years. Played for about 5 hours last night. Logged off and then logged back on this morning and the game made me go through tutorial again for PVP and PVE. When I tried to use my same character name it said that name was already in use. I don't see any option to select a different toon. The only thing I did this morning before logging in via Steam was to link my steam account to my Tarkov account. Did I lose 5hrs of progress?
