For me it’s primarily dependent on ifI’m detected or not. If they know I’m there I play very aggressive and if I’m hidden I play slow

Obvi change as needed. Play extremely aggressive if they make themselves vulnerable with grenade prep or reload

In a usual wipe when weight matters, some plates are lighter than others but will come in a carrier that has bad coverage

So you can take the plates out and put them in a carrier that has more coverage

I need some help, I am good at PVP. I have 30 hours so far and I’ve gotten 13 PMC kills. The thing is, whenever I die, it’s not when I run face to face into another guy, it’s always just someone shoots me in the back of the head.

I love PVP and I stand a chance when I run into someone, but it’s annoying getting shot from no-where, I understand it’s a common thing in this game but does anyone have tips to either spot people or not get shot from no-where?

Check the area before going in to loot, there's always a teammate camping the body. Use supressors and cover, noise attracts attention

im at 200h (excluding arena) and i just got good at spotting today

1 more thing that actually helped me and ive started doing 2 days ago is hopping in an offline raid with ai amount set to low, with a 3-20x scope and trying to 1v3 the goons on lighthouse

Always move in cover or concealment. Check for vantage points that might house people. When moving out of cover/concealment be quick and unpredictable

if you have good ammo i would go for head/body shots if you have shit ammo go for legs

if ur confident in your aim you could also go for face/headshots with shit ammo but thats more risky ofc

I've never played PvE but for Tarkov in general. Utilize the Wiki as much as possible. Its super informative and lets you know what tasks are kappa required and what your rewards will be to help you plan out which ones to do for task turn-ins for other tasks. Go slow until you find your playstyle.

another helpful tip with sorting gear and remembering what you need for hideout upgrades and such is add them to your wishlist, you can give them a "star" icon or other icon so that way when you see them in raid you'll see it's marked with that icon and you'll think "oh i need that for this/that"

Tarkov does the arma thing, so if you set your setting to low, it puts all the work on the cpu, if you increase your textures and setting to medium or so it puts the load back on the gpu more like it should so it would run better

Adjust price on how many uses remain on the key, a key you can use 10 more times is going to be more expensive than one you can only use one more time, this goes for pretty much every item in game (excluding items you can craft into something else since durability doesn't matter there).
Undercutting with a single rouble works just fine, just check if your rival has been on the flea market for a while since if it didn't sell the lowest listed price probably was overpriced.
There are more than one marked keys, some a LOT more expensive than others (eg dorms 314).

Spawn pvp is part of the game. Know where others spawn, see what they do, fight them or avoid them. But don´t run like that without considering, what other people do

also you have to manage your stamina properly. if you run out of stamina in the open, u are an easy target

Your first few quests are there so its a good map to start with

But keep in mind theres certain extracts that are always locked unless you have a certain item and stuff like that. for example for co-op extracts you need a scav with you to extract there

or on ground zero these 2 require a special item, upper one needs a flare and lower one needs a note with the code word Adaptation (upper one is mira ave (flare), lower one is Tartowers Sales Office)
