woods isnt really the best map to learn since u can get gunned down from pretty much any angle any time

Make sure you bring good ammo for Tagilla and Killa. They're a bit stronger and Tagilla has a full face cover in Labrynth so his head isn't exposed like it is on Factory. Also it can only have 5 pmcs. so if you get a group of 5 you'll be the only ones. just have to take care of the bosses and the raiders then its all loot

partizan doesnt really have any armor so not really any strat afaik, he has a slightly powerful gun though
reshala has a gang of up to 5 guards and they generally have level 4 armor and level 3 faceshields, it may be more difficult to take them down especially if you don't have armor piercing ammo

lol if you are not prepared then running is the way to survive for sure

reshala is one of the easier bosses so you shouldn't have a craazy hard time, but the 5 guards can be overwhelming especialy if you still have like level1 gear, and once you start fighting them it can alert every player that reshala spawned on the map

the guards can also throw pretty accurate grenades too

that is pretty normal as a beginner, the game can be nerve wracking

if it helps any, the game will wipe to 1.0 in like 35 days, so anything you gain or lose now will be reset for PVP sooner than later, you can think of it as learning the game before the big update comes

PVP will wipe for 1.0, and afterwards the plans is there will be a main character that will NOT wipe, and then a seperate seasonal character with wipes
if you are on PVE the 1.0 wipe is optional, if you want to access the story mission content

You can run a practice raid and turn bosses on to try out different things. Reshala is super easy if you know what you’re doing, I was able to kill him and all his guards with just a Glock and mp18

There is a website called tarkov tracker, you have to manually input everything that you’ve done but it will show you how many tasks away from kappa you are and you can filter to only show kappa required tasks

hard to say if you are missing or not penetrating. there is gear that can withstand 30+ pen

standard helmet and plates is lvl 4 people run rn

Since you can buy lvl 6 armor and lvl 5 helmets, something with 46+ pen is more desirable to use

Hi there - I am having a big problem with the BTR and I was wondering if anyone has had this before. When I get in the BTR, and I click into the first dialogue option, I am immediately locked out of doing anything. I end up stuck in the BTR until it kicks me out before driving away. Once kicked out, I cannot fire my gun until I exfil. I am assuming there is some keybind that I changed that is causing this behavior but I have no idea what it would be. Has anyone had this problem before??

If you’re hitting their head and not killing you need to target the face specifically. After your initial shots you need to retreat and flank. Don’t fight them all at once. It’s much easier to kill them with 3 1v1’s vs 1 1v3
