A trick I used to do with my AKs is bring 2 45s, one in the gun, and another in the rig, and really just mag dump the first 45 in PvP to then tac reload to drop it on purpose

Another trick is to bind a screenshot button on your tac reload button so that you get a pic every time you drop a mag

It pretty much just means it's an item you can't buy on flea. It's usually the best items - tier 6 plates, the best ammo etc. So maybe this is a pretty good gun too, I don't know haven't tried it

This may be a bit off-topic, however I figured I would share. There is a program called Lossless Scaling. I've had excellent results with it in Tarkov by using it's built in frame generation. It's completely safe to use with Tarkov and isn't considered a cheat. In most scenarios, depending on your hardware it can easily double your FPS depending.

In most user cases, no. The inherent difficulty I've personally came across with others is that you need to make sure your Vsync is properly setup either at the driver level, or in game. Then simply select Frame Generation LSFG 3.1, and change the flow scale depending on your screen resolution. Then just scale it and test. It's fairly simple to tweak and dial in. It can just take a bit depending on your hardware as everyone has a different experience.

I've got a friend who runs a GTX 1060 TI and seen a 45% increase in FPS after setting it up properly.

When the game stutters, or hitches, you can get some odd frame tearing. Frame Generation basically uses AI to add 'fake frames' to your image. When that image is interrupted, or your game stutters, so to does the generated frames. The cost of frame generation comes at input latency. However in a lot of cases, it's so minimal you barely notice it. You also have Nvidia low latency, and reflex to help combat input latency.

Very much so. There's actually a G-sync support setting in Lossless. All in all, if you are having performance issues it's worth a shot giving it a try. There isn't much risk involved, as you can simply request a refund within' 2 hours if you can't find a setting that is acceptable for you.

it also has to be THE RIGHT COLOR sometimes you might mix yellow for green which is needed on different extracts

Hey if you are going to water treatment I suggest going at night. The rogues have a harder time seeing you. Also look up the rogue spawns on a map to see where they spawn so you can take them out before they blast you. (They can still see you… just not as easily)… another thing, wear night vision and run a 1-6x like the tango or vudu. Razor if you want.

Had a question regarding the upcoming wipe and 1.0 release.

I know they said this time PvE will be wiping, and that there will be a hardcore wipe prior to 1.0 release.

My question is will the pre 1.0 hardcore wipe also be wiping PvE? Or will the 1.0 wipe still continue to be the only planned PvE wipe?

nope, this upcoming patch 0.16.8.0 isn't wiping pve

and there weren't any news about the 1.0 pve wipe, so we can assume nothing has changed. Keep in mind that it's not strictly mandatory, you just need to wipe to be able to access the end-game content (it's that way so that everything doesn't get spoiled at the start at once)

Just wanted to make sure PvE wasn't wiping, like, in 3 weeks or something then I'd stop worrying about hideout upgrades. If it's still as far off as December then I'll keep grinding.

A wipe implies that everyone's profile will be reset regardless of if they want to or not

Honestly bro everyone does it different… but I like to note all the items needed for my hideout currently and keep/gather more… also it’s late wipe but this is still a good idea. Look up a chart/image of all the required items for kappa… I think they even have a chart/image of everything needed for hideout too

I'm only like 10% joking. If you really need the space go through the Wiki on each item and see what it's used for.

Personally, I have 5 scav junkboxes. When I need something for a quest or hideout, I always have it handy.

Sell the MCC, keep the flashdrives, cigarettes, dogtags for peacekeeper quest. Possibly sell the lega or trade them for item case from ref and sell the case

The rest are good to keep. Perhaps sell the ravens, you probably wont reach collector/living high unless you grind hard

word up, I wouldn't recommend something if I didn't believe it actuallyu worth it. For this, and if you spend hours in Tarkov I feel it's worth it. I look at hours in game of enjoyment/ money spent. For me at least even iwth unheard, well worth it.

I did 2 wipes on standard account, then upgraded. Stash space is a premium on a standard and is a big road block more than it sems to be intially for new players. also if you were to go full rip on the upgrade, the trader rep bonus you get at start is seriously game changing form standard to (now since EoD is gone) unheard.

The inbetween upgrades can get you beta and in between stash space. But remember you can get Epsilon case from punisher questline, only 1 slot off of case size of unheard.

I upgraded last year when sale happened and I feel def worth it because of hours I spend in this game. But it can be done without it, just harder and takes more planning
