Scav karma is a reputation system tied to your Fence trader Rep, it positively or negatively affects your scav loadouts based on whether your scav karma is above 0.0 or below 0.0 respectively. You start the Base game with a scav rating of .2 with some preorder editions of the game having more, most notably EOD. You can raise scav karma by Taking car extracts as a pmc; the rewards are as (.40, .20, .12, and .06) continuing the patern of diminishing returns with each use of the car extract on the same map. You can lower it by killing other scavs, and bosses, hence being a bad scav. Bosses with negatively affect your scav rep in a proportional relation to your total scav rep. So the greater your rep, the greater your loss.

pestily has a guide up if you need a video to follow along, but if you go inside the builing from the front parking lot, then go to the back right of the main lobby youll find a hallway leading to a collapsed part of the building. On the left side of the rubble youll find a dead Terra Group scientist. Search them and youll find a key to a room 304 on the second floor. If the key isnt there then just hope they unlocked the room otherwise youll have to redo the raid. Once you leave the hallway head up the unblocked staircase and head into the glowing blue area from the lights on the right, youll find a room 304 straigh back righ of room 303. In the center of that room will be a central workstation with multiple HDD spawn on it (Only 1 will have the spawn for you, and its player based so it cant be stolen before you get there)

That's the end of the progression tree. As it stands, which could be wrong so we'll have to see what meta builds look like and how people build their guns, there isn't much reason to do anything more to your gun then just add an optic and maybe a cheap suppressor.

Factory teaches you aim and head on battles but that doesn't translate well. Most PVP is decided by map knowledge and better movement.

Good map rotations and forcing fights on your terms and not taking fights on the enemy's terms is far more important than aim.
It will win you more battles, and give you better survival rate.
