So, a few people have messaged me regarding the stutters fix and all that: it depends on your hardware.

PageFile.sys is a very common culprit that leads to the outOfMemory BSOD exception errors and stuttering. If you have a poor HDD or not enough RAM, your PageFile.sys is essentially a much slower temporary RAM storage, and of course it can spike up to around 30-31GB, causing stutters.

If you have a good, strong SSD, go with MIP Streaming, and try to keep everything (and PageFile.sys) on the same drive Tarkov is on.

Using the following specifications from a gaming laptop:

  - RTX 3060m
  - 32 GB RAM [DDR4, MHz ??]
  - Samsung SSD 980 PRO 500GB [NVM Express]

The following setting are applied:

  Shadows quality: ultra
  Object LOD quality: 2.0
  Overall visibility: [determined by player]
  Anti-aliasing: FXAA
  Resampling: 1x off
  NVIDIA DLSS: off (This is off due to causing blurriness when sniping / aiming with scope.)
  AMD FSR 1.0: off (Similar issue to problem stated above)
  HBAO: high performance (Shadows between objects, such as corners and little ledges
  SSR: off  (water reflections and etc.)

  NVIDIA Reflex Low Latency: on

With Process Lasso in parallel, forcing the EscapefromTarkov.exe via Select CPU Affinity selecting the physical cores manually, setting to High Priority, and enabling Hardware Scheduling in Windows settings.

MIP Streaming seems to help a lot to smooth things out, good for strong drives (NVMe, etc.)

it's still in game, but there arent dedicated spawns for it, you can craft it or buy it on flea, but the items to craft it are expensive af, and any on the flea will be super expensive also

@narrow wraith i doubt youll get 60 FPS, specifically on certain maps (taxing on your rig), but the i5 is going to hurt you more than the graphics card... Tarokv is an extremely CPU intensive game.

I have 1060 gpu, 16 gigs ram, SSD, and i7 and get barely over 60 on the roughest maps, but it was definitely under 60 before i upgraded from an i5

3. The prices of all dogtags are multiplied.
4. Increased melee damage and a quest to kill PMCs and Tagilla with melee.
5. Therapist has barters for stims/no stim debuffs/ obdolbos buffs
   Events and information will get added as they are released.
   There is no wipe date confirmed!

You’ll probably see a tweet from bsg in the #eft-announcements where it’s saying something like “we’re installing a new patch, something something… the game will go down for estimated 4-6 hours… and then something about, they might need more time to install it…

Sometimes they’ll also include the “there will be a wipe with this patch” and then the firesale happens
