If you're looking for a teacher/someone to guide you in-raid ; you can check out #sherpa-info . They're official volunteers that will gladly teach you the game - They use a ticket system so there may be a tad bit of a wait time.
Alternatively, on the Sherpahub discord you may navigate to their “#Looking for group” or “#Looking for help” channels to find non-official sherpas that are offering help.

For that gunsmith task it's usually easier to do the 100rd version
Otherwise it's raiders and rogues, or a lucky weapon box/KIBA spawn, because both 60rd mags are blacklisted on flea

Like I used to be super cautious hiding in fights etc. Now I often feel like it's smarter to rush or flank the enemy. Staying in position gets me killed. Solo you can play whatever you speed you want, and you dont have to worry about your squadmate killing you, or not avenging your death, or being too loud and dumb
