not all pellets hit then, also if every shrapnel hit, it would be 696 damage, and 696 * 0,7 = 487 (more than 440, killing them). Also take into consideration leg meta nerf isnt 30%. Its more about 25%, since the first 65 damage doesnt get the 30% damage decrease, if you manage to equally distribute the damage between both legs, its 130 damage that doesnt get the 30% damage reduction. Also consider the fact that you can hit them in the stomach to deal even more damage if they dont have protection there. And to further prove ive literally been one tapped with a ks-23 after the patch

I almost exclusively play with at least one teammate so most times I die I end up geting my mags carried out for me, but yeah I really should start getting by with only one or two.

I have a horrible habit of spamming r for reload and dropping a mag in the process though and having more than one extra is definitely helpful when coming up on 3/4 stacks.
