I cannot login to my account AT ALL. I need to verify my account via a code from an email I'm supposed to get, but the email NEVER comes through. I've tried downloading the launcher through some random link and logging in that way as well, but that doesn't work either. I've also emailed support a few times with no response in the past couple months. I'VE ALSO whitelisted all Tarkov emails and still nothing. I spent $50 something on this game, and I'd love to play it. Can anyone help? What do I do?

I also did some random thing someone suggested with the launcher where you change the IPs to get a different server to send the email, and that didn't work either.

Depends, with ur PMC If you extract too quickly you will get a Run Through, which removes all your found in raid items status and any mission that requires you to survive on the location wont count. But sure, you can extract whenever you want.

I just upgraded my pc massively to get higher fps in Tarkov. I see people getting 200+ fps on similar setups. But I am getting max around 120fps.

I have tried 1440, 1080, fullscreen and windowed, postfx on and off etc. I have tuned nvidia settings, power settings on my pc, tarkov settings to the same settings as people getting 235fps. But I am still getting max around 120fps and constant dips down to 70s and 80s.

Can someone explain why I am not getting as high fps as people with the same setup?

You can extract at any time, but there's a mechanic that makes certain items lose value/not count for tasks if you extract before 7 minutes, or do not gain enough EXP.
You can extract at any time as a scav and keep everything, yes.
A large portion of email issues seem to be tied to only specific emails (They might have some sort of filter they haven't disabled) . There was someone earlier who couldn't get emails at all to their primary, tried another email and instantly got the email verification codes. If you're really worried, I would suggest making a new account just for gmail if you are willing to go through the hassle.

Right click the launcher exe, and the two game exes and go to properties > compatibility tab > check "run as administrator" for bsglauncher.exe, escapefromtarkov.exe and escapefromtarkov_be.exe. Trying EFT competitors like Deadside, DayZ, Scum, the maps are huge and despite whether there game is for casual or hardcore gamers, it can be a bit ‘sparse’. Boring, repetitive maps, etc. what are the maps like, would you say? Empty rooms/buildings, same layouts, not much clutter? Do they feel lived in?

You will probably have no issues with only 16GB of ram but it could with tarkov. Some people it's alright.

a 32GB kit of ram will be around $120 usd

or if you want to get 2x more 8gb that will be cheaper

If you do that I'd recommend buying the PC first, looking at the sticker on the RAM inside and buy more of what they used, for best performance

Try reinstalling "Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2019 Redistrutable (x64)" ? Not repair, uninstall and reinstall from microsoft website. This usually fixes this problem with the launcher not opening.

That probably will not fix it so you will have to scan windows for errors. Reboot after doing what you are doing first.

Start > type CMD and right click commend prompt and run as admin > type sfc /scannow and enter

It will scan windows for damaged files (something is wrong with your .net framework and you can't uninstall it anymore since it's part of windows 10 now)
