@vivid briarHey, some times playing on another server may increase your ping because of the great distance. Once a player's ping reaches 180 then that player is disconnected. There might be other reasons you're not able to connect but that's the only thing I can think of.

Maybe try changing your region to a location that is closer like Alaska or have your friend host

I bought it today and before it was dont installing, it gave me an error that the game files integrity had been compromised and needed to be repaired. once it was "repaired" it said it needed a full re-install. Well that sucks.. but oh boy thats just the start

One the reinstall is done it gives me the same repair game files error, then rinse and repeat

normally i dont go fishing around my files to fix issues (because they dont happen) but i had to this time. I tried to switch the installation location and it gave me errors, on every single folder

even the ones that the wizard installed for the game

I made new folders, deleted old ones, and even tried installing new software that supposedly helped run complex files, nothing worked

I restarted my pc, restarted the installation process, uninstalled and fucked around with every file i could but nothing worked

I'm at a dead end, i asked reddit and that didnt help, i asked the support team but got no response, and finally i'm here

i also finally was able to pin the launch and install hub to my taskbar (since the only way to reach the installation screen was through the website which i had to download the wizard every time i wanted to visit the page), after many attempts. But apparentally that doesnt boot up unless the game cashe files are opened with some weird software i had to dig around the internet to get, and it still takes forever to start. And even still it doesnt work now

ive never had issues with a game on this level, and i feel like its pathetic that i have to resort to youtube videos, reddit, support team, and now discord on how to fix this problem (because its common apparentally)

I should simply be able to install the game where it belongs, and start it up, not fish around with 3rd party softwares, deleting folders as well as files constantly, and expecting errors the whole way through, topped off with a lack of help overall slowness

ive been trying for in total 2 hours and 45 minutes (not including download time) and in total its taken up 16 gigs, for no game, no help, and no hope

If you can't get anywhere with either of them then you might consider not running tools / scripts / things that anger anti-cheat software while playing online games. If you have any issues with ingame items glitching out like and displaying other than the actual item, then please clear your cache. You can do this by going into the launcher then clicking on your name then on "Clear cache", this should solve it.

Are any of you experiencing intermittent crashes (or sometimes full system locks) while using vendors or in the menus, sometimes in-game but not nearly as often as in the menus/vendor screens? For the last 5 or 6 weeks EFT has been crashing my Radeon software, then I have to end task the game (if it didn't freeze my system entirely) and restart my system. I was running this game on the exact same system with 2 monitors at two different frequencies and it worked fine for month then one day the crashes just started happening and never stopped. It is inconsistent as well, sometimes I can make it 4-5 hours with not crashes, other days I rarely get to close Tarkov the normal way.

System: ASUS Z-390P, i9-9900K (normal clock), 16GB RAM @ 3000MHz, RX 5700 XT putting out 1080p @ 48-120Hz (Freesync), 500GB Samsung NVME M.2 SSD

(I monitor the clocks/frequencies of all these things each time I play, when I crash there are no thermals that are high and no clocks too low/high)

When it comes to game settings I keep everything low except textures and I have TAA turned on, all of the high-impact Gameplay/video settings I have turned off. That's my normal settings, I've tried at least 50 different combinations since this problem started.

I've tried about a dozen different AMD drivers released over the last year, all of them crash the same, sometimes I get a few hours of gaming but they inevitably crash.

The reason I'm here is because I reinstalled Windows yesterday, updated BIOS on my mobo (which were already pretty recent), updated chipset drivers, trimmed by audio drivers down to one, took my GPU apart to check for damage and to reapply thermal paste. I ran RAM diagnostics and stress tested my card for hours on end. ALL of it was for nothing, hours and hours and hours, just a huge waste of my goddamn time.

This does NOT happen with other games, the only time it does is when I forget to restart my computer after walking away because EFT crashed again

You may need to boot up in safe mode with networking, since there's something on your pc stopping the game from creating that temp file.

I was banned from EFT and I don't know why!? I am filling out a ban appeal right now but I am very irritated with Battle-Eye. I took a 1.5 month break from EFT (due to RAM dump issues that got fixed with one of the newer updates) and I have the Edge of Darkness version and I put a lot of work into it.. I have never cheated in my life on any game. Back in the day I used GTA "cheat" button combos in story mode but that's the extend of my cheater knowledge.. Any information at all would be nice so if the ban appeal goes through I can fix whatever triggered it in the first place. The only thing I can think of is Nord VPN that I recently put on my computer. I never used it though while playing because I didn't want to wreck my Ping (I'm not sure what benefit it would give me anyways because I have servers close to me). Any help at all would be greatly appreciated!!

Even if you weren't cheating on Tarkov actively, if any programs it detects as cheat software were running or even ones you had running previously that are still on in the background without a PC restart you can get banned.

Well, no one here can really help you anyways so you just need to wait for Battleye to respond and make your case to them. False-positive bans are really rare and even if you are telling the truth no one in this Discord can un-ban you. I would check through your PC files and make sure their isn't anything on your PC that it might have detected or might cause more problems in the future.

Battleye does not consider a VPN a cheat software so you shouldn't ever get banned for using it. Again, it could be a false-positive ban they are just extremely rare but obviously it happens to a few unfortunate people and you might be one of them assuming you're telling the truth.

I'm in another server that deals with that problem very horribly, basically if you join a VC then leave like 3 times in a minute or so you instantly get banned from joining VCs for x amount of time and that happened to me and I waited 5 minutes then tried to join again but got permanently banned due to some bot error and I had to wait nearly an hour for staff to respond and fix it

So I'm trying to figure out other servers solutions to that problem since a ton of players experience that problem themselves and it actually creates more problems for the staff than solutions I'd imagine

It is possible, you can do it on the launcher.
If you want to try to find 'dead' servers pick the ones with the highest average que time that don't have too high a ping based on your location. Even if you pick servers with large que times that doesn't guarantee you'll get in a dead raid but it's possible from time to time.

Are you sure you're not in the modding view? When modding a gun, it will show all of your available attachments that are currently not in use in your stash. Edit preset shows all the attachments you can currently purchase

Ive been struggling to get an acceptable download speed on this Tarkov update, I have read through 3 forum posts and the following solutions have not worked:

1. Changing VPN Location
2. Running the launcher as an Admin, and Setting the Launcher along with its GameService priority to High

Since the recent update and when I start the game it will load as usual all items again. Approx. 2 minutes in this process the game will crash. No items will load anymore and at the bottom right corner is a loading circle. The game will not proceed from this point on and it seems that the loading of the items in stach and with vendors will cause the game to crash. The way it downloads the game is it downloads it to the temp folder on your main drive with windows then it moves it to the drive you want after that. so even though you have space on the other drive you need to counter intuitively delete space on your C drive to make the game fit on your E drive

hello, i unlocked my fps using VoX_E video on youtube. It worked gr8, i was happy to have about 120fps but after few days i'v seen my fps dropped again. In about a 4-5 hour session I'm guaranteed to blue screen atleast twice.

Additionally I'll get these random moments across all maps and different locations where my gpu taps out at 100% use and I get like 10 frames. Once I die (normally mid fight is when it happens) everything goes back to normal.

Try restarting your wifi and restarting the download, but it might just be a server problem or something else because I've had that issue as well and I have stable Wifi.

To uninstall the game do the following:

1. Launch Battlestate Games Launcher.
2. Click on SETTINGS at the top of the launcher.
3. Scroll down till you see "Game directory:"
4. Click on the link below that.
5. A folder will open & inside it you will find "uninstall.exe".
6. Click on "uninstall.exe" & Windows will ask you if it's ok to proceed.
7. Click yes and you're done

There isn't much that I know of that you can do to fix the problem as it's a server issue that BSG needs to fix most likely. All I can suggest is checking your anti-virus software to ensure it's not causing any conflict with Tarkov
