I had this bug yet again were randomly after interacting with something in the game my center of aim with my weapon is changed from the center of my screen and when I ads it still remains at the altered position, first time it happened it was put all the way at the left corner of my screen and almost impossible to play, the second time it moved it up towards the top of my screen. Is this a known issue that anyone else has seen and is there any in game fix to remedy this while playing?

Since i set my in-game username when I started playing, I've changed my online name to what it currently is - however someone else already used the username "nighTmare" so it won't let me change to it. So I was wondering if all the usernames reset with the wipe, and maybe I get the chance to get "nighTmare" for myself if I'm quick enough

Hi guys I have a question, I persuaded a friend to buy EFT, today I bought the game and we tried to play but it was not possible. We enter the game and I see him in the game, but he can't see me.
He tells me that he only sees me in the start spawn and that I don't move from there, however I can kill other players and they can kill me. In 2 games he lost the game. We played several games together and he has never had that problem.
Do you have any recommendations or information to take into account?

Does this noise ever fail to happen? I was inside the red keycard armory room, labs, and shut the door behind me - it was locked and the red lights were both on. So I managed to buy a standard edition gift for a friend, logged into the launcher with his account to activate the code for him. I clicked the link, it opened a website and i typed in the code. I was still logged into my account on the website. Didn't realise. I have now activated standard edition OVER my EOD edition and dont know how to revert. Im scared to log in to the game in case my gear gets ghosted into the ether. How do I solve this?

@solemn pawn I just started 2 weeks ago, but my 2 cents: Factory is the easiest map to learn because it's so small, but you're guaranteed to be fighting multiple players for the same reason. Customs & Reserve are the next-easiest to learn but large enough to hide and be a rat, and I had luck with interchange because there are relatively easy/low-traffic routes for reasonable loot and simple exfils. But take that with a grain of salt since I'm relatively new as well.
Basically the game is hard and you'll die anywhere, it's part of the process. Just gotta take your lumps early on and learn from the mistakes 🙂 Finding experienced players is so important. Lmk if you want to play and I can show you the basics

Hi, got a GTX1080, 16Gb 3200 Ram, i7 8700K delid, NVME, I play at 1440p and when I'm at the outsite, I get only 80FPS. When I'm in my plank, I get 190FPS. I need help. Everything is on low in the graphic settings. Somehow, I see players with lower rig getting 120FPS outside. My GPU driver is up to date.

Probably be banned for bypassing BE to run filters. As it would require altering certain things for BE and the game launcher not to notice filters, which would probably be against one point of the User agreement

That’s for sure isn’t a ram issue @vivid briar I wouldn’t know what it is but 16gb enough, to check just go to task manager while in game and see the ram usage cpu usage and maybe something to help figure it out

@livid crag Hi i just formated my computer ,updated all drivers just for this reason.They suggested also to shut the defender and antivirus but still same problem.I monitor the ram during ingame via an app from my logitech mouse and max it goes is around 75%.Also i did install a mem free application but still the same..

@trail mountain If you have the game on the lowest settings then you give your GPU (AKA Graphics Card) more stress. Higher settings will give more stress on your CPU. I play on like medium/high settings (anyone correct me if i'm wrong, this is what i know.)

and no, there is no other way, if you have an hard drive (HDD) no matter the rest of the specs, you will always be delayed by the write and read times of the HDD which are slow af

@livid crag the issue was either the gpu drivers which i did reinstall or the "auto ram cleaner" setting that was NOT selected because on 5 or 6 raids i had no issue, only few stutters which is normal. Also "use physical cores" was selected somehow after i reinstalled the game by default which i deselected. Now i also notice that max 60% of ram is used, prior to these changes i could see it reach 75 to 80 sometimes. thank you for your help and time answering me.

@rough geode yes i got this message sometimes also.Can you check the event viewer by typing in windows search box.(check the error messages or warning messages when the game crashes) Also check the things i did in my previous messages above , because in reserve i had most of the issue also. Basically reinstall your graphics card drivers and make sure "auto ram cleaner" is selected and "use only physical cores" is unselected...maybe that will help @nova vale check this also

So BSG removed nvidia freestyle from Tarkov. However it is still usable with older versions of Nvidia Freestyle. However in the recent interview Nikita did he states ""Our position is simple - we'll prohibit it with BattleEye. Just like we prohibited Reshade."
Does this mean that you will be banned for using it or that Tarkov will be unable to open with it active?

Anybody else having issues where the game launcher buttons just kinda don't do anything? Like the update or play buttons. I press them, but they won't work until I restart my PC sometimes up to 3 times
The Change Server button won't work either. I just restarted and it still isn't going

Sharpness and film grain caused a lot of lag for me, so I definitely recommend turning those off unless you reeeaaalllyy like it

Has anybody had an issue with opening doors? There have been several runs that I've done where there is no open option on most or any of the doors. Meaning I've gotten stuck in a lot of rooms, and had to reload the game

Yo is it possible to make EFT download faster ? It's 400-600KB while other games do 11mb+

Today I went in as a scav 4 times. Every time there was under 8 minutes left and twice I didn’t have enough time to get out. Anyone know why?
