You need to unlink your Steam account, and then login to the new account that was created via the form and then link your Steam account to that

The form transfers your Steam progress from the temporary guest account that was generated on your purchase of the game over to the new account that was created

You still need to follow the next steps and link your Steam to it

If you do that, your progress on Steam is restored

If you don’t do that, then it’s gone forever because it’s on that new account

If you own the game then you do have an account, specifically a temporary guest guest generated with your Steam email automatically when you purchased the game, the form is a forced migration of your account data to an actual BSG account, this is why you needed to enter a new email address to create a new account

You have not yet finished the linking process

Please read the steps I posted and actually follow all of them, from what you’ve told me you just did step 1 and then stopped

If you actually just do what I am telling you, all of your progress will be restored

You do get to use your EOD account on Steam. You need to link your Steam to the account with EOD purchased on it.
I own EOD and Unheard and I play on Steam just fine.

That aside I have already explained to you that AT&T have been having issues resolving Cloudflare DNS connections for days now and have not resolved it, there is nothing BSG support, you, or I can do to fix it, you have to just suck it up and complain to your ISP

I've had them linked since I started playing. I was not playing on a guest account I was playing on my account but for some reason it didn't let me use EOD. Fine, simple. I get forced logged out by steam and can't login without creating a new BSG account. I already have a BSG account connected to my steam so if I make a new one it either one resets my progress which a lot of people had issues with or two is a new account anyways that doesn't have the data saved at all. I was told from here to talk to BSG directly because nobody here can fix my issue so that's what I did, not hearing from them for a week I decided to say screw it and just download the BSG launcher and restart, and now we're here with AT&T and Xfinity being an issue and there's nothing I can do about 2FA because apparently everyone and their mom has had issues all day but when I logged on ALL WEEK, and TODAY I have issues now just because.

But the Steam account certainly can be helped, you can in fact continue playing with all of your Steam progress by following the steps in the pinned message.

If you want to play with your EOD account, then you’ll have to link your Steam to that account and your EOD accounts user data will overwrite the Steam data.

You have a choice of which one you want to do, you can either have your existing BSG account with EOD overwrite your Steam profile, or you can link your Steam to a newly created account via the form and migrate your Steam data there.

I'm not being passive aggressive, how is me telling you directly I've been told that my issue is not a steam user log out and is completely different being passive aggressive.

All I want more than anything is to beat this game. I've had it since 2018 and never have been able to do to the immense amount of cheaters and hacking, but PVE brings a point where I can actually enjoy the story. Tarkov is a hard game no matter what, and I think it would be fucking epic to prove to myself that I can do it similar to how I beat the souls series. Just a thought, but correct me if I am wrong. When you link both steam and launcher tarkov does it have to be linked through the launcher or the tarkov website itself? If its through the website then maybe you could use like cellular data? That or try a different browser. I have had issues in the past with logging into things, and swapping the browser would fix it.

If you were prompted with the “complete account activation” form on Steam, it means your Steam account was not linked to an existing Battlestate Games account and was linked to the temporary guest profile that is generated automatically on your purchase of the game

Finally got it out of nowhere. I read several reddits saying if you are still connected on the website on some other tools (phone, tablet, other laptop) and you manage to request a mail verifiction and receive it, it will trigger the ones for the launcher. Thats what I did and now I could install the launcher and currently installing the game!

Also when your pc restarts after ddu you need to unplug your ethernet cable so windows doesnt download its own drivers

The bsg account you created was done during account creation and is connected. If you have progress it will be on that account if you made progress since linking to that bsg account. Otherwise, if you need to reconnect it to this new bsg account you specified you may do so on the website but there is a cooldown period between linking.

BSG support is the worst of the worst to deal with. My issue dates back to 2/13/26 can't play EFT. 403 error maybe related to their email verification? I've not received any for 3 days. Not my problem, not in spam, plenty of disk storage on Gmail, and a "Never send to Spam" filter for the primary sender address.

BSG created their own account without my knowledge: Tarkov_Citizen. The one I created was "JammyRIck". So, I had to generate a brand new account in order to finally link the Steam account. This caused another issue: Now my Arena game is back linked to the old "JammyRick" account.

Not necessarily. If you have EOD or TUE you should only need to complete the quest before, given that you also finish Sensory Analysis part 2. That will give you enough rep

I'm trying to get the savior ending, and during the "They are already here" story questline on PvE and ran into an issue where I didn't get the piece of Major Evidence I need to get the ending.

||My friend pressed the button to "Restore the AARS station backup settings" (I was unable to press the button myself after that) then we both took the "Flash drive for AARS station", extracted, and handed it into Mechanic.

My friend got the piece of evidence, however I guess I failed this objective (didn't realize it was a required objective since I wasn't able to press the button) so now I'm locked out of achieving the savior ending due to the missing Major Evidence.||

Is there any other way to get this piece of evidence? or to revert the quest back to before I completed it? 🙁 Would suck to have all my progress be made invalid due to not pressing a button that I was unable to press

I don't believe there is anyway to fix this. You could try going back to Interchange and see if you can redo that section but from what I understand from other's that have done the same is that unfortunately you are now locked out of Savior ending. It's a shitty way to ruin your progress but the way it is setup is that only one person per raid can hit the button, therefore you would have had to extract and come back for you to do it if your buddy hit it before you.

#Help I messaged BSG for help on my account. I bought EFT on steam, which was a huge mistake. I tried playing and it will not let me play unless I register. So I tried registering, and it says that my steam account is already linked. It however, is not linked to any account or email that I have access to, or am aware of. I log into BSG and my steam account is not linked, and can not be linked either, because when I try to link, it says the same thing. That my steam account is already linked to a BSG. Point is... Steam does not store the linked account information. BSG does, and they are completely useless when I sent them screen shots and plenty of information to prove I purchased the game. I asked them to unlink my steam account to whatever "Ghost account" it is linked to, so that I can register my steam account, and play the game. I wait weeks for useless responses. It is like a real person is not even reading my email. It is like they use robots or useless AI. Does anyone else struggle with USELESS BSG???? They are creating a TERRIBLE name for themselves. Everyone I know has major problems with BATTESTATE GAMES. ugh... It has been weeks. You purchase a game, and they throw you in the trash.
