that would be the best course of action, and just a tip (only if you intend on playing tarkov a crap ton), i suggest you spend more on the drive, CPU, and ram, and less on the GPU, if your budget allows it.

Hello i am not new to encounter performance issues with my game, i always ended up to fix them, but this time i am having such a hard time ive tried to optimize this game for 3 whole days and it hasnt worked out, i tried everything (ddu, new drivers system memory allocation, graphics optimization new chipset drivers ) and the issue still persists, it being my game starts to lag horrendously whenever i shoot my gun it goes from 144 fps straight to 20 or even lower

A friend of mine is having the same issue with the game, after they press play. Game runs, no display, audio can be heard. But they cannot tab into the game or play, after pressing play in the launcher. I've tried changing things on the executable, fullscreen "opts" etc, to no avail. Seems to me the game is launching in a weird res, or to a monitor that doesnt exist.

When I reset it, I got an error when entering the tutorial. I closed the game, went back in, and when I logged in, my stash was completely empty, including the Gamma and the character.

because if yes.. that MIGHT be a corrupted memory block on your GPU (that is the first sign)

Check DLSS options, make sure "Noise" is ticked off in the options, obvious one. I know DLSS is weird lately, also check mip mapping. It makes things ugly sometimes.

Tarkov randomly last night started running really poorly, and now it always gives me a pop up that the game is not responding or it just takes absurdly long to queue into raids. Half the time i get hit with an "Anticheat connection failed" or sometimes the game will straight up just be stuck up on loading forever. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the battleye (running as admin and without) and this has done nothing, I just recently uninstalled and reinstalled the game and this also did not fix anything. I even went into my bios settings to tweak my DRAM frequency to see if it was an issue about RAM and even tweaking it has not helped. I am stuck and have no idea what to do, I was never running into problems until 11:00 PM EST last night. I can now barely load into scav and PMC raids, and streets just does not allow me to load in whatsoever, I was able to load into interchange with my FPS just dropping and freezing constantly. My specs are Ryzen 9 5900X, 3080ti 16gb, DDR4 32gb RAM

Just to add on, I am currently 15 minutes deep into loading loot and I ALWAYS get stuck at the 80s range and it makes my computer really slow and I am not able to do anything at all. Just before this I underclocked my RAM by one notch (Default speed is 2666 and i set it to i think 2300 something) and I am getting absolutely no where. I did no changes, only updated my graphics card drivers but it was working fine even with this. Its really frustrating as it is preventing me from playing the game. Nothing I did has worked, I even was following some solutions on reddit where you have to disable your IPv6 and enable your firewall to accept the game and I have already done these steps and NOTHING is working still.
20 min load in timer and only 96% loading loot. I have no clue what the issue can be

Hey, does anyone know why I have a ton of issues when loading into BSG servers? I primarily play PVE, but I can't do scav raids on Factory as it will slow down immensely on about 80 loot loading and sometimes freeze my computer after 100% and then time me out, but if I'm playing a raid on local servers on any map, I can load in perfectly fine and smoothly too. From my limited knowledge, I'm assuming it requires more hardware to run locally, so I'm guessing it isn't a spec issue, but this is really limiting my ability to play on Streets or any scav raids where it requires BSG servers. It also happens in PVP offline raids with friends. i havent been able to find a fix for this online

i dont see that anyone responded to you yet, its due to your friend having the edge of darkness edition of the game (not sure if unheard gains this benefit) which ensures you have enough starting rep to reach level 2 (even though you dont have the level for it) so it counts that for the story quest, and you dont, so you have to actually level prapor.

Hey guys, i just want to check to see if anyone else is having the same problem as me. i tried to update my tarkov game a week or two ago but it wouldnt update because of problems with the unityplayer.dll file. So im trying to uninstall and redownload tarkov so that i can play again but everytime i try to uninstall or delete the game and its files i keep getting the same messages. Either "access to the path '\?\F:\Battlestate Games\unityplayer.dll' is denied. or when i try to delete the unityplayer.dll file to fix the issue i get the message that the file is open in another application. Anyone found a fix for the server disconnecting issue? I get into raid and within 1-2 minutes my game freezes and the game either crashes or tells me that I disconnected from the server. It functions kind of like the bug where all audio stops and the game freezes and comes back but instead now I'm disconnecting. This has been a thing for ~72 hours now.

This happens EVERY RAID to me since the day before the most recent technical update, my friends are playing fine but I am constantly "lagging out"

I've been running the game with no issues since forever, nothing has changed on my PC, I'm using only servers with sub 50 ping, my internet has 0% packet loss. I've tried a few of the fixes online from years and years ago and done all the standard stuff ie clearing cache etc, just really at a loss for why this could suddenly happen, it has to be on BSG's end.

I made a ticket but support gave me an automated response clearly meant for when AWS was down telling me to just only use the server with the lowest ping....

if the help page didn't help it might be a rare issue called dual stack lite which is an improper internet setup from your isp. there's 2 types of this, one where you lack ipv6 totally (check on whatismyipaddress.com to see that) or a shared ipv4 and unique ipv6 which you can't check.

Does anyone know if the lighthouse bug that prevents looting rogue bodies has been fixed?

hey guys, i bought tarkov way back in the day on the battlestate launcher, but when i tired to run it it said the integrity of the files wouldnt work, so i uninstall the launcher, same thing. leave it to repair for a few hours, doesnt do anything. so i try to unistall and windows says their is no uninstall.exe for tarkov, what do i do now since im out of ideas?

Im having trouble completing the labyrith quest line, ill finish the part were you need to find the bear pmcs and unlock the office but it just resets after the raid... any ideas?

Not sure about the resetting, but when it get's to the part to examining the 5 dead scientists, it doesn't log the 5/5 very well. I ran it about 3 times and eventually things clicked in the quest logic.

well it does say that I found the 5 scientists and I already turned in the audio tape to jaeger as well as found the document on shoreline which is supposed to end the quest line xd

I found out tarkov was using 100% of my hard drive for some reason ( the game wasnt even installed there ) during loading in raid, when I removed it the game became more stable

do all of these things : update CLEAN CUSTOM INSTALL nvidia/amd drivers ( this is so ur drivers are 100% not messed up ) , update bios, check if you have xmp enabled in bios ( if your ram is running at the correct speed ), verify intergrity of game files. And another thing is to leave extra space for your drives ( ssd ), for example like the drive being 75%-85% full

and check cpu/gpu temps if something is overheating

This looks like a temporary internet problem somewhere. Restart the launcher and try again later, disable any vpns.

If you are 100% sure and have inbox message history for your account this may mean that a hijacker took your account and changed the email address.

This also means they hijacked your email as well during this.

I've had this issue on Streets as well. I usually do a game restart after it happens the first time, I don't go back into raid while I know my game is bugging out.
