Somehow the name of my char was different (some scav-like name), and had progression in current wipe on PVP servers, whereas I've only played PVE in my last sessions. ay, does anyone know why the game seems to run so insanely inconsistently? Both on my laptop and PC my game will run with like 120 fps and good ping or whatever, but randomly itll spam "EscapeFromTarkov.exe is not responding" and light my screen up with packet loss. Just tryna figure out why its a coinflip as to if i can play. Raids either are 0 issues, or only issues. nothing else

cool, its recommended. It runs perfectly fine on 16 until it decides it doesnt wanna. Its not an issue of consistent performance issues, its an issue of inconsistent inability to play the game. If i needed more ram then i wouldnt only sometimes be unable to play, but othertimes experience legitimately 0 issues.

no. it can fill up sometimes. i use 32 and used to sometimes crash every now and again in scav raids. it was fixed with page file.

ive explained it to you multiple times. it runs FINE. im not expecting no issues. The issue is that my 16 gigs will work for 6 straight raids, then randomly decide i cant play for 2 or something, then work again, then randomly decide i can play again. if 16 gigs was SUCH a damn issue, then i wouldnt be complaining about the random inability to play the game. it would be a consistent issue. its not. its RANDOM. itll crash when its using literally every ounce of RAM remaining, then other times ill check and its running at 8gb or sm with 0 problems. so clearly the game is capable of running on 16, and running well on 16.

What you are experiencing is an issue (with RAM). memory leaks are random. ram does not have to show as fully utilised to be ‘full’ in windows.

16GB or RAM will cause instability with your game client, you should increase your page file size or get more RAM

Its been doing it since i wiped my pve character for 1.0 like the dailys and weeklys are fine and the rep carries over but to great heights hasnt even shown up in my tasks for arena

Yes I can see that, but when you link them the Battlestate games account overwrites the Steam guest account, that's how things like game edition, character stats, achievements and purchased expansions are transferred
